just soy cafe is a wonderful dessert experience and is the "real deal". devoid of the pomp and fad driven trends it's has awful lighting, no nonsense decor and service with an apathy that is driven by not trying to be "cool" they genuinely must be tired of serving people because it is probably the busiest desert shop i've ever been to. friday and saturday nights it's standing room only past about 6pm. 

the selection of taiwanese deserts is awesome, delicious, fast and cheap. it's truly one of the "real" asian dessert cafe's in brisbane.

nice place for dessert. like the grass jelly especially and usually get the bucket! desserts are quite nice as well, like the combo of different ingredients as well

a good place to eat but the staff is sometimes rude and impatient. place always runout of pearls or other ingredients. wouldnt recommend coming here on weekends.

big fan of this sim place dessert cafe. great value for money with traditional asian flavours. would definitely recommend 'the three brothers' drink and the green tea ice cream! lost some points since finding a seat is so hard!

a great dessert place to go if you're craving tofu or shaved ice with different toppings. they also sell milk tea but have never tried it. can get takeaway if there's no seating. service is quick too.

lovely place to grab a lite dessert. service is average. the soy jelly is firm and light with a topping of your choice for $4.35 (21/08/15). a little expensive but some other items on the menu have better value.

a nice place for a quick catchup.

had a red bean and mocha source soy custard, the taste was quite average. the soy custard is bland, and i personally prefer it got stronger soy flavor. the mocha source do meet my requirement; bitter at the start and sweet at the end, but it will be better if they could make it thicker to let it stick with the soy custard more easily. red bean was fine, but a bit too sweet for me.

overall it is still a good choice of dessert  in the region but would be much better if they could focus on the details of the food.

the restaurant is very busy and the line reaches the door most of time. they have a huge variety of desserts all around $5 (generous serving size too). also the bubble tea is very cheap ($3) compared to most places. would recommend for those on a budget!

just the best greentea ever! enough said. the greentea flavour is strong and perfectly sweet. not overpowering the greentea flavour. a greentea fanatic so i really recommend this place!!

best soy custard in brisbane. im just sad they dont open on tuesday because i get crazy cravings for it almost every tuesday. but also randomly throughout the week. their fruit tasted a bit off the first time i had it but i gave it another go- still the same. so i just stick to my usual soy custard with mini pearls & sometimes i get matcha syrup hehe

like it? yes & no... some desserts were too simple (not good) and some surprised us (in a good way). good to see it still open till late, great place to drop by after dinner or takeaway and enjoy at home. many varieties to choose from at affordable prices. i rate it 5/10

best soy dessert in brisbane. this is by far the best soy tofu? in brisbane. as the name implies it specialises in soy tofu desserts. most fresh soy custard (tofu) you will find in brisbane. so good! we usually get the 2kg tub if we can as there are plenty of servings for the whole family and left overs for the next day. win win in my opinion

favourite dessert. i love this place because it serves my favourite desserts that i will never get bored of (soy custard and herbal jelly). it can get quite busy here; there is often a line out the door. however, turnover of customers is pretty quick, and it's always worth the wait.
