restaurant week. a group of ten of us went out of our normal federal hill/little italy box to try this italian place in mt. vernon and we all loved it. the ambiance is the first thing that you notice when you walk in with the murals on the wall and low light. the food was delicious. first course to dessert was good all around and the wine selection only added to it. definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a good date spot or to take people out from out of town.

a good place for some creative northern italian. duck filled ravioli with a veal truffle reduction. amazing.

wow. i took a girl to sotto sopra as a first date. the bartender derek was amazing. he knew the in's and out's of the menue and made some amazing suggestions. the wine list is phenominal and huge, allowing for the perfect pairing for any pallet and dish. bravo sotto sopra and derek. this was a perfect experience and you made a lasting impression on not only myself but my date as well. thank you

fantastico!. for upscale italian, this is the place. food and atmosphere are great with a diverse group of clientele.

if you are used to little italy, this will probably not be your scene. fortunately, i like them both.

how do i describe this wonderful tart, sweet, savory delectable concoction...oops, i just did. i was at an opera night at sotto sopra restaurant and the lemon basil sorbetto was the intermezzo. it truly cleaned and refreshed the palate but i wanted more,
