located not far from the river walk at street level. we walked in on a saturday night and right inside the door was a singer and a trumpet player so that was cool. there is a small hall way lined with a few two person tables that leads to a larger room with the bar. the bar had about 4 or 5 bartenders and the wall behind them stretched a good 12 to 15 feet in the air lined with all yourfavoriteliquors. there was a chalk board that listed the specialties of the evening. what stood out to me was the service. the bar was fairly crowded, but a bar tender noticed me walk up and immediately asked if he could help me. usually at other bars i have to stand around for 5 to 10 minutes desperately trying to get a bar tenders attention, so i was very impressed. i could see that they were making some outstanding looking cocktails, but i went with an old fashioned and a double of myfavoritebourbon. we actually came hoping to get some wine, but learned that they only have a house red wine and a white i believe. the place had such a great vibe i was not disappointed that there was no wine selection to speak of. the crowd was pretty diverse in about every way imaginable (young/old/races) which i thought was pretty interesting. they had table service as well and we counted ourselves lucky to get a table for two in the hallway (which was a great spot because we got to hear the music pretty well while also getting to see the action in the bar area). it is not a large place, but as busy as it was it didn't feel crowded to me. it had a lively fun vibe that we really enjoyed.
