the tastiest pot offoodi’ve had in a long time. this meal was just tantalizing to the taste buds you can tell a lot of care and tradition went into making this.

if you are not a fan of tofu don’t let that put you off as this is just mind blowing and they do offer none tofu options for the meat lovers out there.

while living in palo alto this was one of my go-to places. it was five minutes away from my house and i would go all the time just to eat the spicy seafood soft tofu pot. thefoodwas authentic, made well and consistently tasted good. the service wasn't that great and because of the need to preserve water, water was not given to tables and instead served through a self serve service at the back of the restaurant in a giant water jug.

the first time i dined at the restaurant, my car was broken into. so we ended up getting a takeaway and waiting for the police. the restaurant did say this happens a lot and they have a sign at the door.

my second visit was thankfully uneventful. thefoodhowever was not to my liking. i liked the braised short ribs. the bbq chicken and bbq pork were not tasty. the chicken mushroom tofu soup was mediocre.

goodfoodreasonable prices. excellent place. nothing like being served a boiling dish of soup and getting to crack a fresh egg into it. the veggie bimibap was a little too simple but adding kimchi helped. soups are excellent. a good foray into koreanfoodbeyond the bbq.

i am a huge fan of the traditional tofu stew. if you’re a fan of new and interestingfoodexperiences, i highly suggest trying it.

reasonable korean in palo alto. i had the bibimbob (beef and vegetables) at lunch here and it was good. this is not a spicy dish, but some of the other items on the menu are authentic korean hot. there was limited banchan served with lunch, but it was good. a little more expensive than average for lunch. service was good andfoodarrived pretty quickly, but we made sure to get here before noon.

i enjoyed this place...the service is very friendly and thefoodis good. the only thing i don't like about this place is that it closes on sundays!!!! anyways good koreanfoodespecially with limited choices in palo alto!
