small local byobburgerplace with sketches decorating the walls. very nice and friendly service. cheese fries and burgers arrived quickly along with selection of interesting sauces. place was very quiet at saturday lunch time

probably the worseburgerin philly. seriously!
started with the fries (which were great by the way) being served 10 minutes before the burger. that means you’re either finishing the fries before you get the burger, wait until you get theburgerand eat cold fries or get another order of fries when theburgerarrives.
i ordered myburgercooked medium and it came well done and dry, the mushrooms on it tasted like the griddle hasn’t been cleaned for a few days, the meat had no flavor at all and over all was extremely greasy.

as aburgerlover, i honestly don’t understand the hype around this place.

never again.

i’m enjoying a juicy american kobeburgerat sketchburgerin philly’s fishtown neighborhood. 

i ordered the american kobeburger(medium) with bacon and a side of beligian-cut fries with chipotle sauce. 

i forgot how good thisburgerwas – really juicy and awesome!

the first thing i did when we moved to fishtown - before we'd even moved into our house - was go to sketch burger, and i'm not afraid to say they have the bestburgerin the city.  everything is cooked to perfection and the toppings aren't skimped on. you're going to need quite a few napkins to keep up with the burgers here, but it's well worth your time.  the fries and dipping sauces are also great, but their sweet potato fries are some of the best in the city as well.  you can't go wrong ordering here, unless you're watching your weight.

good but not great.... sketch is a great concept but not well executed. creativeburgeroptions, but consistently overcooked no matter how you order it. the fries -- every version of them -- are very heavily coated with a bay crab type of seasoning that just overwhelms them. if there's a potato in there, you'll never taste it but the portions are large. a dusting of the stuff would be seasoning enough. the endless sketches all over the walls are charming, the scruffiness of the place makes it very casual, but there's something a little too grungy about it all. some hfc free beverage options would be welcome. good for the neighborhood, but not worth a trip out of your way. (miss the owner's coffee shop. now that was a special place worth a drive.)

sketch has the bestburgerin fishtown hands down. my only issue is that it is classified as $ for price. it's def not that cheap since fries and and drinks are extra. as are mostburgertoppings. it's def $$. but totally worth it. they fresh make everything and you can taste it. you must try sketch

their kobeburgeris now the new standard by which i judge all other burgers - it's that delicious. add a side order of hand-cut belgian frites and i'm inburgerafficionado heaven!

great sandwiches. this is my favorite place in the city for aburgerand they also make a great pork sandwich.

on the fence. i kinda thought it would be a reasonably priced place for aburgerand a sandwich. the prices start out reasonable but by adding basics like cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and onion to my burger, and my gf just got the pulled pork straight up with 1 bottle of shared water...19 bucks seemed kinda pricey. we are in fistown afterall. coulda gone to standard tap or brendas and get the same thing for maybe less.

as for the food...it was pretty good...no complaints. although i od'd on onions..my own fault though.

overall good but we felt like we'd been nickled and dimed.
