been coming here for years and it's still a very nice spot for drinks and unwinding. their legendary cocktails are a must have. thenachosare amazing as well

six bar literally has the beatnachosin town. it's a must get if you visiting, not to mention their wifi is ready fast. a great little place to stop for a drink or two.

sixes is a great place for drinks and catching up with your friends, they have lovely happy hour specials and the bestnachosin melville 😋😋 the music that they place at this place🔥🔥 what a vibe i tell you. the service is just fine, can't really complain. oh this place can get very crowded so go there prepared.

definitely one of my all time favourite cocktails bars. my friends & i can come here every week without a second thought. they have a very wide selection of cocktails, along with good food that fits the chilled vibe of the place. they also have the bestnachosi've ever had & they never get them wrong without fail.
the service is always on par & the waiters never fail to check on you, advise on drinks & treat you well. always worth going to!

hadn't been to this spot in a few years. the vibe was fantastic and the service was friendly. they have a huge range of cocktails which makes things very interesting, their special buy 1 and get a 2nd free cocktail ensured that the drinks flowed.

we ordered the chickennachosto nimble on, they were fantastic. their jalapeño poppers were hot as hell bur everyone seemed to enjoy them. all and all, it's still a decent spot to have a sundowner

not only is 6's in the opening sequence of 7de laan which is simply just amazing, it's an institution just as 7de laan is.

working in the city and living in northcliff hill, my journey home saw me driving pass 6's everyday.
and so i am delighted to say i have had every cocktail on the menu, all 60 twice ;-) courtesy of happy hour.

dare not stick a cigarette in your mouth, you will have a hundred lighters lighting you up....amazing stuff that i have never seen anywhere else.

thenachosare amazing...one can't describe them. you just need to have them.
6's has different dynamics to it and patrons change and changes depending on the time you visit this simply amazing cocktail bar/restaurant.

lunch times are normally your office workers, having business get togethers....a few walk in students. night times in the week is your very much still working class and couples.
however your friday and saturday night....student infestation.

6's caters for just about every crowd.

remember students are students...
we were all students or some here probably still are.
i have seen some crazy things happen at 6's... crazy funny.

for the bestnachosin town 6's

100% the bestnachosin johannesburg, hands down. the sauce they use is incredible, the cheese generous and the guac sensational; the perfect recipe. i could talk about theirnachosfor days but i'll use some self restraint and move this review on. their other food is also really good although i must admit i mostly ever had their nachos. they have a lovely variety of tapas. i've tried their samoosas, spring rolls, haloumi, and chili poppers. all really good, their vege spring rolls are exceptionally good.

i have never had a waiter here who wasn't amazing. they're always so friendly, ready to suggest a killer cocktail and all around add to the vibe. the vibe is great with a banging play list and cool colours and decor.

their cocktail menu is extensive and the ones i've had were great. they have a happy hour (7 hours) every day from 12 til 7 where it's two-for-one which makes the experience friendly with the wallet even.

despite all the great options of restaurants in the area this is the clear winner for me, so give it a visit!

cocktails are good andnachosare great. but it is too much of a student place for my liking. can get really rowdy and crowded. it's better to go in the week than weekends.

for the feeling of a bustling city while being hidden away by latin deco and music, only that can be found at six.

word of warning, one helping ofnachosand a whiskey sour will convince you of asking for vip membership. spoiler alert, there is none.

needing a bite to eat with our beers, and seeing as the kitchen was closed where we were, we headed to six for the bestnachosin joburg. we were seated at a shared table, which added to the experience and meant that not only did we make new friends but we also landed up staying far longer than we planned and introducing our new friends to our favourite cocktail: the chocolate martini. not a place for a quick drink, definitely a place to meet new friends, linger, and enjoy the excellent food and most tasty cocktails.

cocktails! cocktails! cocktails! for days! my head was spinning i did not know what to drink. so many options. i recommend the voodoo vodka.

never have i been to a place that is so determined to get you drunk. best customer service i have seen ever! the waitrons know exactly what to recommend and very friendly.

thenachosare good but not the best for me, the only reason this is not a 5 is because the happy hour special was not explained properly. so i forfeited 6 free cocktails 😤 but i definately will be going back to drink all the cocktails!

wow! where do i being... we arrive on a friday 5pm for drinks and dinner and are told that if our table isn't full we will need to share and"that is just something we do around here". i mean i'm all about meeting new people but not over my dinner. we waited over 45 minutes for drinks just for manager to tell us that the bar is busy - excuse me but if your happy hour gets busy maybe get another 2 bartenders during happy hour (logical?). this was then followed by a 50 minute wait for food that was terrible. at this point we were starving and would have eaten the glass out drinks were served in. all of that aside the food was terrible. thenachoswere so soggy that you didn't need teeth to chew them. the mini prego rolls are extremely hard to bite into. the meat balls were desert dry and the avo crostini had an entire garlic clove on it. the poor waiters are left apologising all night long for the bar and the kitchen. top off a terrible night the bathroom doors don't even lock... i recommend no one come here.

crowd gets a bit loud after a while so we tend to leave quite early !!

bestnachosin town!!!!!! they aren't selfish with their portions and toppings. you have to go for the 2 for 1 drink specials that start at 12pm and finish at 7pm. the bar gets full pretty quickly but you can reserve a table. the music is great, the food not too bad and the drinks amazing and you won't leave their with all your pennies finished. need i say more.
