i'm an old f*** who writes lots of reviews. this place is unique. a pub feel w/med food? yeah, they pull it off. food is simple and tasty. i love shepherd salad.lentilsoup is among the best i've had. bread has a soft pretzel feel but a more conventional bread taste. cheese pastry...unique. not heavy. definitely an app. airy texture, delicate flavor despite feta. the spanakopita hit the mark with bold but not overdone garlic, herbs, texture. yeah, microwaved, but i expected that.
i don't do hookahs so can't comment. no smokey smell downstairs though. staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. not my favorite music but appropriate for the (much younger than i) clientele.
the fact that i'm back and working my way through small dishes should confirm that i'm impressed with the job they do. next time, maybe an entree.
