been here a few times and never disappointed. the drunken noodles with fresh veggies and tofu were delicious, also tried “shrimp “ spicy with rice and broccoli. great service, very comfortable surroundings.

this is one of the best meals i’ve had in san diego, and i’m not vegan or even vegetarian! i had the pad thai. it has a lovely tamarind flavored sauce and the “chicken” was very tasty and had good texture. i also had a vietnamese coffee which was made with almond milk that was absolutely delicious! i will definitely be bringing my vegetarian friends here and others too! i’ll be back...

vegan/ dairy allergy / vegetarian paradise!. sipz has great food and good specials. it's hard to choose between the spicy basil, yellow curry, veg surprise, and vegan sushi. the mango sticky rice is a favorite when mangos are in season, and the chocolate cake is moist and delicious. their mother's day brunch left us stuffed, and they weren't overcrowded. the fried wontons are really good too. parking is better at the clairemont restaurant. the food is so good it's easy to order your favorite over and over or try a new dish.

bad!. all the items there were either super greasy, super deep fried, too dry (from sitting out there too long) or too saucy. all your typical bad chinese food stereotypes! horrible! this place gives chinese food a bad name!!

i like meat and usually large amounts of it. but i must say sipz did the job. it isn't earth shatteringly good, but it was pretty decent. this time i got the tom ka soup. the flavor of the soup was full, spice (5) was on point, and they gave a good portion too. the only thing i'd change is get tofu instead of mock chicken and add more vegetables. i didn't like the texture or the taste of the "chicken." other than that, pretty good! 5501 clairemont mesa blvd san diego, ca 92117 (858) 279-3747 sipz.com all vegetarian the mission: san diego's best french toast! 08. jun, 2010 written by michael 0 comments

hostess and female waitresses really have bad attitudes! i don't know why but enough to change my review to i don't like it!

vegan does not equal healthy! we thought our experience was good especially as new vegetarians, different flavors and tastes based on what we have been eating for the last few weeks. pros: good sized portions with reasonable prices. however, i expected a place with great and new ways of preparing veggies and really all sipz is an asian restaurant that uses tofu instead of meat. waitstaff is fair and service is a bit slow overall: 2.9 of 5 stars.

best pho for vegetarians. san diego wouldn't be san diego without restaurants like sipz that serve us very few vegans. i've been to this restaurant for years and my favorite all time vegan dish is the vegetarian pho. just talking about it makes me want to go out and grab a bowl. delicious!!!!!!!!

love it. we love this vegetarian restaurant in san diego. the decor is perfect and the friendly staff is charming and lovely. their vegan food is consistently good and well-priced, i especially enjoy the vegan desserts.

sipz vegetarian restaurant. i live in clairemont since birth and this is one of the best things that happened to clairemont. sipz is basically the first vegetarian restaurant in this neighborhood and everyone embraced it. i read prior reviews and they complain about service, but what can you expect of a vegetarian restaurant that has pricing like a fast food restaurant. i personally don't mind that they take the time to prepare my food fresh and hot. the portions are big and the pricing compared to other vegetarian restaurants is very reasonable. this is the best vegetarian restaurant in san diego period!

the service at sipz was the worst i have ever experienced in my life. extremely rude waiter. food was as expected. decent desserts, but the smoothies were awful. can not stress enough how much i hated sipz. i would rather eat food from my neighbors trash than eat at sipz again.

good food but vegetarian does not equal healthy. everything is fried in vegetable oil, so ask a lot of questions.

vegetarian paradise. this place is awesome. it is a vegetarian's paradise. my husband is not vegetarian but he loved the food. the papaya salad we ordered was topped with veggie jerky. i had the vegetarian pho, and my husband ordered the "mocked beef" with broccoli. everything was delicious. i want to go back there tomorrow.

scrumptious and healthy vegetarian cuisine. this place is awesome. it is a vegetarian's paradise. my husband is not vegetarian but he loved the food. the papaya salad we ordered was topped with veggie jerky. i had the vegetarian pho, and my husband ordered the "mocked beef" with broccoli. everything was delicious. i want to go back there tomorrow.
