amazing place to have variety inindianfood.both north &southindian food under one roof.very modest prices... go to place for dum biryani lovers....thali served in buffet style is a revolution...

one of the best bet for all kinds of biryanis.
tried their new mutton matka biryani and it was worth every penny. sincerely recommend this modest priced gem.

situated in al falah plaza, at times very crowded. typical restaurant at first view but well designed seating with a lot ofindianvarieties to choose from, specialized in southindianbuffet lunch and snacks. friendly staff was moving around to help, the service was very quick.
overall a very nice place to visit with family to dine.

best for family iftar. good food. smiling staff.

nice place to dine in. food is above average and service is super fast. has good family seating too. chicken hariyali is recommended . planning to visit this place again.

came back for breakfast and it was a disappointment. these have idly and wada only on friday. the menu states southindianbreakfast and there is no idly & vada. irony !

i had read some positive reviews on this restaurant and was planning to visit them someday. it happend out of a sudden that me and a friend decided to go for iftar and we chose silver sands.

the ambiance, though a small place but smartly arranged to accommodate their guests at a comfortable level. the servers moving around with all the attention ensuring their guests are looked after well and feel at comfort of their homes. welcoming and accommodating staff.

the dishes are mostly to southindiantaste and the buffet consists of chicken biryani, plain rice, chicken curry, fish curry, noodles, macaroni, chicken lollipop, veg curry, gobi manchurian, breads, pickles and a dessert. even though a small buffet the team has ensured all dishes on display are finger licking.

at aed 25 this buffet is worth the spend.

a fairly economical and decent quality southindianrestaurant on an upper floor of al falah plaza in town center. they are mostly known for kerala style food (coconut oil and/or coconut milk and bay leaves being the key ingredients in most dishes). i've tried their bbq, curries and biryani.

amongst all menu items, i like their chicken tikka the best... very juicy with a good amount of southindianspices. would also recommend their kerala pepper beef with tandoori paratha... good stuff. their curries have some room for improvement, however.

after visiting silver sands i had to open the dictionary to look for superlatives to describe the food at this place. if your palette is suited for authentic southindianand northindiandelicacies, silver sands is your place. for the price and the ambience silver sands offers an amazing experience for a food lover.seldom does one go to a restaurant and miss home(india in my case). silver sands is a return ticket to south india and much more. the only drawback i can think of about silver sands is that my appetite wasn't big enough to eat every single item on the menu. go for the experience, stay for the taste.

overall good food served here with filling quantity. the friday buffet lunch is worth to try for typical southindiandishes. the biriyani was also tasting nice. but the taste of their food is deteriorating in recent times. their tandoori chicken and grills must try.

unlike otherindianrestaurants in al ain silver sands is pleasant, comfortable with a basic buffet. however our christmas lunch which we picked up from here was lovely. the biryani was pure kerala styled, the drums of heaven were heavenly and the chicken roast was finger licking good. well done.

went here last weekend just to have some starters
tried the tandoori chicken, paneer tikka kabab and gobi manchurian dry.
the tandoori chicken is the best tandoori chicken in alain. perfectly cooked with the perfect taste and spices. the portion served was more than enough for 2 people.
the paneer tikka kabab was amazing as well. the quality of the paneer was really good.
finally, the gobi manchurian according to me was okay. it wasn't served hot to us.
this restaurant maintains the authenticindiantaste and spices up the food as indians love it to be.
the only drawback is the chutney served. the chutney rather than being spicy or tangy is sweet.
overall had an amazing experience.
not too pricy and is definitely worth the money you spend.

food was excellent for that price. i would go as far as saying it's the bestindianfood in al ain. the servers were friendly, as was the whole atmosphere. all in all a wonderful experience.

they serve asian food here. dishes are served in traditionalindiancutlery but taste is selectively good. large portions of food served at low cost but heavy. buffet lunch available every day. ideal place to go shopping in lulu and dine in silver sands. it is a nice place but not a great place.
