great value. this is the pub to visit for a great feed at a great price. the daily specials are fantastic value but if you prefer you can choose from the extensive menu at normal prices. surrounding aren't salubrious but the dining room is clean and the are very staff friendly. however, every time i visit there are family's dining there and young and old alike are welcomed. the main bar is very much a working mans pub, but can you avoid that if you head straight for the restaurant when its thefoodyou're after.
