it's really good food, great flavor, and big portions. but service lacks a little speed.

loved the food, and i've been looking for a good thai place for over a year now. their fried rice is some of the best i've had in a long time: i like that they aren't afraid to put some seasoning and msg in there. the smokey/savory flavor is something that seems hard to find in the area, and you certainly won't find it at a place like panda express.

i would also recommend their green curry. i love how light the sauce is.

okay stuff:
wanton soup: crispy vegetables and good broth, but is even better if you add a little soy sauce and their green chili oil to it.

things i wouldn't recommend:

pad thai: way too heavy of a sauce. if the sauce were cut in half or diluted with broth, it would be much better. it was pretty pungent, too. i would like a lighter pad thai.

not the best but good thai. i thought our two plates were good. but the spicy basil chicken lacked basil so it wasn't the best to me. i like that they offer brown rice but the up charge is $2.00 each.

no flavor. this company doens't know how to make good thai food. they all ought to close the doors down and find different jobs, cause they sure can't cook. horrible. i've been all over the country eating thai. this place was the worst.they're #1 alrihgt... #1 in bad thai food. you'd be better off getting some good canned food from the grocery store.

phil had the red curry, which was flavorful and came with plenty of rice. it had plenty of fresh kaffir lime leaves which made the dish excellent. i had the pad thai noodles which also had plenty of flavor. i didn't think it was particularly meaty but authentic. we got the siam plate as an appetizer which had one of everything. it was all good but seemed like the oil temp was a bit low. we weren't fans of the thai toast or fish cakes but it was well presented. overall, the trip was good and we would return. get your thai iced tea to go for more value.

pretty good. phet (pet).
if you are not thai, and you want your food spicy thai hot, remember the above phrase. some thai places lower the heat depending on whom they see sitting at their tables. i try to convey some thai-ness to the waiter so i don't get stiffed on the heat level.

of all the thai places i have been in the valley, this is my 2nd favorite. they have some inconsistencies with management that can kill the food sometimes. if the main cook goes on vacation, gets sick, takes the day off, or for some reason gets let go a 2nd or 3rd time, the owner takes over cooking duties and the food turns into a luby's equivalent of blandness.

if they still have their main cook, then the dishes will put your palate on cloud 9. this is one place you want to bring friends and out of towners and introduce them to some of the best thai the valley has to offer.

entrees are normally under $10, you can't lose.

one more advice. if you order a noodle entree (pad thai, pad see ewe, etc...), don't forget the lime! it will put your noodle dish on a whole other level of awesomeness.
