if the food wasn't good i would not go back ! my boyfriend and i went to enjoy dinner and drinks . we went inside and told them we wanted to sit on the back patio. the guy at the register handed us a menu and said we could get a head start... so we looked over the menu decided on drinks and waited. we decided on an appetizer and waited then decided on what to eat and still no one showed up.. my boyfriend went in and ordered the drinks thinking it would help them realize we were out there .. finally a waiter brought us water and our drinks .. he walked off never seeing if we needed anything else and never returned.. we ended up leaving n won't be returning any time soon

regret regret. disappointment. visiting my son for labor day weekend and saw all the great reviews and decided to give it a try. the menu looked great and very interesting. we were kinda happy the restaurant was not at all that busy. well sadly arrived at 2:45 - we ordered our food by 3:10 -i think they forgot about us. was not checked on again. no cold water which was tap water. we waited and waited - my husband fell asleep. i ordered an appetizer which was one bruschetta ..arrived -at the table 3:50. i made a comment to the waiter about being hungry and she replied with “me too”. then came back with one plate and mentioned “not all of them will come out together we’re still working on them”. we were a party of 5. the other 4 saw and watched while my son ate. the rest of the food arrived by 4:00. very disappointed. my husbands plate was cold and my cup of spicy shrimp soup only had one small shrimp for $4 and my husbands bowl had 3 shrimp for $9. i don’t understand for being a sandwich place why did it take soooo long. the food was mediocre and the menu was deceitful- why charge premium. i rather eat at jason’s deli and pay their prices at least service and quality is what you expect. avoid this place. quality is low and very expensive. if you’re hungry try somewhere else. you’ll wait for your food forever! again food was mediocre.

firstly, this place looks like it's in the middle of nowhere. there are just plain-jane houses around it and is almost hard to find even when standing right in front of it! however the place inside was packed, which makes me think i was probably the only one struggling to find it.

we tried a few of the cocktails & they were excellent. the servings were quite generous. we also tried two of their sandwiches (does pita count as a sandwich?) & found them quite good. lastly the almond cake & the chocolate cake were both excellent, probably the best part of our food there!

i've never seen a bigger case of confirmation bias from all the comments below. i'm not sure what everyone is talking about. this place isn't terrible by any means, but who wants to pay ten dollars for some stale pita and three chunks of canned salmon with cucumber and a sprinkling of sour cream. the menu is highly diverse with the choice of six sandwiches and a few yuppy salads. if you are a middle-aged white girl with plenty of first world problems on your mind, this place may be perfect for you! just drink one of their special mixed drinks and you won't even mind that your bruschetta is so hard that you nearly break your tooth. if you want an experience that isn't quite so "chic", go elsewhere!!!

we snagged a table outside. lovely! all the food was delicious, but especially liked the gazpacho, the coconut shrimp soup, and the fantastic almond dessert cake. we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. nice waiter.

killer food and cocktails as well as pretentious and crappy beer of the day! cream of asparagus is my seasonal favorite! if you haven't tried this place your missing out.

excellent food. the soup was amazing and filling. and the lavender lemonade is out of this world. only problem is that it took a couple tries to get the drink right (first they ran out of ingredients, then it had alcohol added for some reason). but the visit was well worth it. the atmosphere is great. they had on an awesome movie which was nice cuz i was there by myself.

everything = delicious. everything is always fresh and presentation is always beautiful. from the drinks to the soup/salad and sandwiches. i can't get enough of their food or atmosphere. the perfect fm spot for intimate conversations. i wouldn't recommend for large parties as the building and space is tight.

quite eclectic choice of decoration, but the food was delicious. they were very busy while i was there and mixed up the side dish i wanted, but promptly brought what i ordered and let me have the mix up. the soup was delicious.

cream soda deliciousness. loved shugas! reminded me of a little hole in the wall like back in new york. excellent food! to all vegetarians out there the phellini sandwich is perfection. everything is light and the taste blends are supurb. i especially love how there is no soda to be found on the menu only house drinks and teas. will definitely be going back!

i really liked it!. don't come here if you are looking for a quick dining stop. the service can be slow and sometimes you have to try to wave a waitstaff member down but the food is really really good! the olive tapenade that comes on the mediterrean fare appetizer plate is downright freaking delicious! the pita pieces went fast and we had to ask for more to finish up the spreads. i had the cuban sandwich which did not disappoint. thanks for all the reviews on it from other people that is what i wanted to try and it was so good. also had a cup of that famous brazilian coconut shrimp soup. it could have been warmer but it was too hard to track down a server so i ate it lukewarm it still was fantastic! i would come back here just for this soup. it's one of a kind. i definitely had more than enough to eat. i still took half my sandwich home to drink i can't remember the name but it was some type of colada and it was good. so good i had two!! i will be going back in the future.
