for indian food, this is by far one of the better places to eat in the philadelphia area.  it specializes in punjabi cuisine and will make any dish at any spice (and they aren't kidding when they make it extremely spicy).  to start with, my friends and i ordered the samosas-one lamb and one potato.  they were pretty good and flavorful, but overpriced.  we also ordered the chicken tikka masala, dal makhani, and the shahi paneer.  the shahi paneer was mild, but very creamy.  the chicken tikka masala was well spiced while the masala was very flavorful and had chilies (upon request).  the dal makhani was cooked well and rather flavorful.  the prices themselves are steep, so it's best to share.  i've seen larger portion sizes at other restaurants, so that's the one downfall to this restaurant.  the decor is quite nice and the staff are very friendly.  they do their best to try to explain the dishes and tell which dishes best compliment each other.  i'd have to say that eating at this restaurant was an overall good experience.

please don't go to this place -. both this location and the other location in concordville pa have one thing in common- mediocre indian food.

i have been to both places for the buffet and more than once have come back unsatisfied. they have great locations, but poor food quality, buffet variety and high prices.
i suggest if you're serious to have authentic indian food, drive a bit north towards lower bucks/street road which has a strong indian population (and demands much quality and prices to survive).

i am not related to anyone, or have anything against this owner. i'm just a foodie, sharing my honest opinion.

it's not indian food. for all the non-indians. enjoy the food there but don't call it indian food.
on a rainy saturday evening and the last weekend alone with wife before the baby enters the outside world. we thought would go on a date night and ended up here.
when first walked in i was surprised to see no indians at the table but all non-indians. the server takes our order for kadai paneer, roti & naan. we were hungry and waited anxiously for our order. after 15 minutes and our order arrived. while we quickly grabbed the bread and served ourself some curry. the first bite into it and went into future on how good would taste when our kids cook it for the first time @ age of 3.
i tried to tell the server that kadai paneer doesn't have ketchup on it as i have had it zillion times and he just wouldn't accept. i wish i had printer to print him the recepie.

no wonder why it's hidden in the corner and all non-indian customer base.
my advice drive few miles around and find a place that serves indian food

quantity is ok and rotis are good ( not from clay pot) straight from stove top

i don't think i will ever go again even if i am starving.

if you like the food enjoy. but please don't bring a shame to indian food by calling this indian

hopefully the owner and chef will sit down one day. get the recipes from youtube atleast and learn to cook authentic indian

i belong to punjab, india and i know what exactly is punjabi cuisine. in last 7 months in usa i have been to more than 15 indian restaurants ad i must tell you, this is one of the very best. won't say 100 authentic but close to 80. i had a buffet and i relished tandoori chicken, kheer n kofta. tandoori roti was fresh n superb. will definitely go back to this place

my first indian restaurant. this was my first visit to an indian restaurant and i did not know exactly what to expect. i guess i had some preconcieved notions about indian food. i was wrong! the food was terrific. just the right amount of spices. the service was firat rate and friendly and the decor and atmosphere were very nice. give this restaurant a try.

great dinner, especially the bread. also byob, but they serve liquor!!! what a deal! we brought wine and had cocktail before dinner - seems like you can't lose with that one. simply do not understand the negative reviews - this is a really good place on all fronts.

excellent quality and value. i signed up for an urban spoon account just to write this review. go go go.
