terrible experience with shanmukha.
used to be a frequent visitor but their standards have dropped very low in this branch. starting with the menu, their menu had dirty stains and half of it wasn't visible. ordered one starter dish and one boneless biryani. the starter dish was served in the dirtiest bowl i have ever seen. it looked unwashed and extremely disgusting. the ghee roast smelled terrible. it tasted like very old chicken. the bonelessbiryaniwas average, nothing compared to their oldbiryanithough. i requested the waiter to take another order for drinks, he rolled his eyes as though his grandfather was paying for it. the manager, chef, waiter all of them had very dirty clothes on and it felt like i was in a dhabba(no offense to dhabbas, i love dhabba food). none of them had any gloves or masks on. i ordered for lime juice, i told the waiter that i want lime juice and not soda specifically and yet i received a lime soda served in an ice-cream glass which had a very dirty straw(had crumbs on it) with it. to top it all, i had to listen to bhajans which they were playing on full volume while i was trying to have a good restaurant experience. their pricing doesn't match their services at all.
i am very disappointed and saddened by their hospitality and cleanliness.
