a revamp is highly recommended for this restaurant. such unfriendly and laid back staff. chefs need to be trained onindiancooking. prices also were too high. i was not happy with my experience.

recently we went for sunday brunch at shamiana, taj jlt. located on the hotel's fourth floor, shamiana features the perfect poshindianatmosphere with its elegant decor and sensational live music and aromas of all-time favourite dishes permeating the surrounding.
the best combination of flavours and care and emotions sway with the delightful treats one can experience at shamiana, taj jlt. a place with utter chic interiors which resonates the classic style and leave you spellbound.

the decor of the restaurant has been inspired by the mughal structures of india like the taj mahal. this place has a lot to offer. with an exquisite seating and a pleasant terrace, you are certainly going to fall in love with this place.

we choose to sit outdoors, as it is after all the winter season. the breeze and the dubai marina skyline made up for it. indoors ambience is more contemporary furnishings, with subtleindiantouches.

infusion toindianculinary to bring out the best is what shamiana does. this time shamiana has come up with its new menu which has a true essence of hard work and innovation. theindiancuisine with a twist is what can be well thought of and executed. shamiana also serves a breakfast buffet of global favourites, customized thali lunches, and traditional home-style dinner dishes.

live chat section is simply amazing and has lot of variety in it. authentic spread of starters and a main course along with desserts. we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

bestindianfood and that too in the brunch buffet is a great deal you need to grab and make the most out of it!
reached for the brunch almost when it ended yet the team was very proactive in helping us out with everything they had to offer. may it be the chaat, tiki chaat, appam from their live counters or the wide selection of non-vegetarian dishes! very delighted by the help from mr. ajinkya, mr. ashraf, mr. thomas and the lead on shift mr. hassan, best team by far!

the view and ambience is serene there, try grabbing the same!

amazing place for family gathering. staff is excellent, polite best custimer service. we were servered by ajinkya. very polite and good customer service sence. excellent service by him. highly recommend forindianfood and family gatherings.

110% for the taste and quality of food. so well prepared and the freshness of ingredients/vegetables, the just right mix/balance of spices and gravy... the presentation was also excellent...

however, for anindianrestaurant the serving portions were just not imaginable... 1 panipuri as starter, 1 tikki and 1 seekh kabaab, 1 small bowl of vegetables etc. the paneer esp. was so well prepared that couldn't help requesting additional serving but in vain. the portions are literally so small that it's not even enough to suffice a 7 years kid's single serving, leave alone for 2 people.

so, the set menu is infact just a tester platter. and the amazing amazing taste makes it more dissatisfied experience as one can't get any more of their favourite items.

it's perfect for may be a nonindianfamily for a greatindiandinner culinary experience.
for an averageindianlike me, i would choose a la carte option or prefer going for the set menu when my tummy is already full..

i’ve been staying at this hotel for 4 months with breakfast here regularly and i can say that it has been an amazing food, great variety and service.

to start with the food, there’s everything from continental to southindianand everything in between, it’s what you would expect from the original shamiana. the executive chefs sonu, ruckus and somnath and his team do a terrific job.

on the service side, the hosts, hassan and ashraf make you feel at home going out of the way for the most random of things (brought in a pro for visa issues). meanwhile ajinkya, atique, aditya, akash, joy and team are always on point, they remember what you want and come up with options off menu, super helpful.

lastly if you call in for room service shital and team are constantly checking in.

my first experience in shamiana and it was a great one. our server aditya did a excellent job. right from our drinks, appetizer to the main course everything was served to us perfectly by aditya. the food quality, spice everything was very good. we had requested him whether he can get us baingan ka bharta which was out of the menu unfortunately we couldn’t get our hands on it as he told us that it will take maximum 35-40 mins. bestindianrestaurant in dubai. will surely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family
