shakespeare and co. - شكسبير اند كو

shakespeare is a great place to go for amazing scenic views of the majaz waterfront. their breakfasts are tasty and filling. however, i went there for lunch and ordered their "quinoa salad", the actual clumps of quinoa were frozen! as a result,shakespeareis a nice place to hang out with friends, drink coffee, and eat delicious desserts while watching the vibrant water display at night.

i've been to variousshakespeareand co outlets but this one is my personal favorite as it overlooks the beautiful majaz waterfront. right after coffee from this place, we got lucky enough to catch the fountain show as well. be sure to try out their cappuccinos or if you're looking to beat the heat, do try their iced caramel macchiato.

after a meeting i had in sharjah, me and my colleague decided to get ourselves a good lunch. and given the fact that i reside in dubai, there’s no other place i can think of rather than al majz waterfront. since we were in a hurry to grab lunch on a sunny day, we went on the first restaurant that we saw and that wasshakespeareand co.

i have been to a couple of other branches ofshakespeare& co and tried some of the dishes and liked them, but my experience in the majaz branch was very meh. the ambience, decor and service is really good, but the food is just average. the barbecue chicken pizza lacks flavor and isn't interesting. the spicy chicken salad was okay, but the chicken was really dry and the dressing was a bit odd. the chicken lollipops were just okay and had an overpowering taste of buffalo sauce. the fresh brown bread with garlic butter, however, is my fav!

we enjoyed the food. it was really tasty. however, prices are considerably high against the low quality service (though staff were professional, but the number of staff was very limited).glass all over the place was dirty (see photos), ceiling has fungus in various places (i don't know how the municipality did not close that place till date), cleaning tools kept in foh area.

loving the breakfast options atshakespeareand the coffee with madeleine is always an added bonus. good service and value for money as portions are generous.

due to the crisis, i wasn’t able to order food at first because of the fright i had. but nowadays, highly rated restaurants are trustworthy when it comes to food packing and many more. since yesterday, i have been craving fettuccine. and i kept wondering, what’s a great place that serves really good fettuccine? now to keep in mind, i usually order the penne pasta fromshakespearethe one that looks brown. and i’ve never really tried the fettuccine that they serve, so today as i came acrossshakespearei saw that really scrumptious–looking fettuccine and i straight up added it to the cart! now let’s move on to the actual taste of the fettuccine. the fettuccine has a great creamy sauce, the flavors would leave you drooling! the mushrooms are specially cooked the chicken has a crunchy part and that’s what i really like about it. here’s a little funny story, as i walked in the room holding my fettuccine the whole family looked straight at it as if they wanted to grab it from me because of how good looking, and how scrumptious it looks! overall i rate this a 9.5/10, and i certainly do recommend you on getting it! :) @shakespeare and co. 💗

no matter which outlet it is,shakespearehasn't failed me so far when it comes to food, ambience or service!
the fact that they accept zomato gold is like a cherry on the cake (who doesn't love discounts!!)

bottom line:
be it main course or shakes or tea or the ambience, the place is just amazing in all aspects!

their decor and ambiance is just too pretty! , had their spaghetti bolognese[52dhs] & penne arabbiata [52dhs] both were good and sufficient for each person , totally in love with their complimentary bread and mint butter 😍😍
(they have zomato gold 1+1 and they prefer customers paying by card rather than cash)

this must be the bestshakespeareand co. branch in uae in my opinion. great food great service great location! overall a very nice experience. a must visit.

i had to pinch me out to realize that i am in a cafe as the ambience of shakesphere&co had taken me back to the victorian period. a eclectic british cafe serving the best food in town right from english, american ,mediterranean &labanese .a must visit spot to enjoy the varied food cuisine along with the breathtaking view of majaz waterfront gets you to the perfect fooding moment! healthy food + waterfront view+ ashakespearebook to read on =shakespeare& co .

overlooking the al majaz waterfront,shakespeare& co restaurant brings up the same classic charm of elegant chic english cafe coupled with decadent food and beverage menu. the comfortable seatings, upholstery, grand chandeliers, floral accessories etc used further attributes to its classy ambiance. after embracing in the wonderful ambiance, we got ourselves seated overlooking gorgeous waterfront.

once seated we were served freshly baked bread along with herbed garlic butter. we loved munching on it while we waited for food to arrive. even my little one loved it!!! we asked for spinach lasagna and fettuccine al funghi. pasta layered with spinach and cheese on a bed of yummy arrabiata sauce ' a must-have' it was so wholesome and delicious. thoroughly enjoyed it. fettuccine al funghi has wild mushrooms in a light alfredo sauce, cheesy, saucy, just the way i like it. pasta was well cooked and tasted so good. the portion was good enough to share and we got a take away of lasagna done.

we were so full by all the food goodness that we could not try any dessert and that gave us a reason to come back again and savor more from their menu too. they have drool worthy cakes/pastry selection along with chocolates, macaroon etc. on display. service staff was polite and friendly. beautiful views overlooking the water, gorgeous ambiance and some yummilicious food summarizes my experience here atshakespeareand it certainly has become one of our favorites dine out restaurant in sharjah...

amazing view and some finest burgers in town.
tried theshakespearesignature burger and the green dragon juice. we were on a team lunch and my other colleagues tried some of their other sandwiches and salads. food was amazing and so were their juices. will highly recommend their signature burger. however service was a bit slow on a weekend afternoon, had to wait for more than 45 mins for our order to arrive. so surely some scope there! rest all was superb. amazing view, good food and superb weather these days. go ahead and enjoy some superb burgers there. of course be ready to shell out a lot as well. it is after allshakespeare& co.

this was my first visit to the sharjah majaz branch and oh so beautiful this branch is ! the view from the restaurant is mind blowing . 
my highlights for this times visit was : 
blurberry smoothie - the best i have ever had 
mango lassi - such a different take on mango lassi 
beetroot hummus with zataar chips- yum yum 
whole food salad - the portion is massive and this salad was soo filling 
chilli cheese fries - nothing can ever go wrong with this ! 
calamari - not a calamari fan but these tasted great and did not have any stink to them 
roasted baby chicken - such a well made chicken. the moist in the chicken was just perfect 
seafood paella - delicious !! 
pizza - who thought they could even ace pizza !! a vegan dish - i cannot remember what this was called but it was vegetable noodles with protein bites and it was mindblowing ! vegans this should be your go to dish when at shakespeare also tried their cakes which are my forever fav . overall, love their food and hospitality  !
