it is always a great place to hang out with friends in free time, they have lovely decoration and delicious desserts,drinks.. haven't tried pizza and crepes yet!!

amongst the best breakfast i've had, here in uae! went in for american and lebanese breakfast and i don't regret it one bit. amazing variety and choice available for each type. american breakfast had beef bacon, turkey sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, my style of egg (omlette with cheese & mushrooms), my choice of juice (orange) and tea. everything was perfect. my wife had the lebanese breakfast which had saj with her choice of filling (don't remember the type) along with halawa, her style of egg, labneh, olives, her choice of juice (grapefruit) and latte coffee. we went in for the overkill and even had a dessert and caesar salad. it's worth noting the beautiful presentation of the caesars salad. add some amazing and hearty food with a nice view at the mezzanine level and we've got a real nice breakfast experience! service is good; not too intrusive, neither too distant. but for this price range, i wouldn't keep it a weekly affair.

let me jump into it directly. even though its damn expensive for the less quantity, we still go back to this place. ive been to this place 3-4 times and i have complaints each and every time and something just pulls me back to this restaurant.

this is like alice in wonderland, british tea party mixed together. so pink. so girly. so british. so elegant. love it.

food :
pizzas are great. pasta is not even a cent percent worth ordering because its so bland and we have to literally pay 20dhs for every add ons. the juices are too good. the strawberry fresh juice is to die for.

#shakespeare&coi loved the traditional fish & chips here at shakespeare but i had to put 2 things in my favorites list after my last experience. the quinoa salad is simply delicious. very fresh flavors. one could eat the entire salad in a jiffy especially if you have pink lemonade to go with it. i just love visiting shakespeare & co. for breakfast, lunch or any time of the day. love the whole ambiance & the view.  hospitality is great too. keep up the good work. each visit is very relaxing along with great food.

a well located restaurant with a good view , cozy ambience . what to have for breakfast ? blueberry pancakes, american breakfast and the british breakfast . freshly cooked , really good orange juice as well. i recommend the spaghetti bolognese and the lasagna , most their dishes are quiet generous with the portions and their deserts are divine . overall it's a 4.5 for me .

is a good morning, so i decided to take a walked in al majaz waterfront, and my exams are around the corner. however i decided to have my breakfast at shakespeare and co, and to study at least something for my upcoming finals.
anyways i ordered for pancakes, coffee, and water. the pancakes are really delicious and yummy as expected.
i love their decor and interior design, everything is just unique honestly. i have to go back there, because they gat different varieties of highly pleasing goodies.
moreover, just sitting in shakespeare and co makes me happy, and they have great music playlist on, that goes with my mood :) so i highly recommend this place.....

the perfect breakfast place for you and the family. great location, great atmosphere, great service and great food and desserts! their english breakfast is delicious!

update:

just came here for lunch and their lunch menu is great as well! i had their traditional fish and chips and i would not change a thing! it was perfect! my sister had their cordon bleu and my father ordered the beef tenderloin and they were both very very happy with their meal! not to mention, shakespeare has the best service in sharjah! they are so friendly, fast, attentive and helpful in every way! i was seriously so impressed by their great 5 star service!

i'm moving up my rate from 4.5 to 5.0 after this visit! they really earned the perfect score!

good family place. interesting decor. staff is also quite friendly. good food, but portion sizes can be more.... would like to revisit again.

came in with family. the kids loved their desserts, wife enjoyed the ice cream and i must say, the mango juice was yum yum too.
all in all a very good experience.

went there to study with a friend, so we wanted to sit on the sofas, they were all taken down stairs, so the waiter guided us to go upstairs, i was not sure about that but anyway went to see how is upstairs, and opposite my imaginations the ambience upstairs was better, more sunlight and direct view of the see was very calming.
usually with their tea or coffee they serve 3-4 biscuits , so this time i got little naughty and tried to choose my sweets myself, and i picked around 5 type of mini cakes, and my sweet waiter just accepted whatever i said and brought them all to me with my english breakfast tea and warm milk,
they all tasted very good and to me the best one was mini chocolate cookie, honestly i was ready to pay any price for those cakes cause i chose extra than normal, but they didn't charge me anything.
pricing is fairly good.
and i recommend it to everyone to try it atleast once.

had gone on my anniversary.. simply elegant. reminds of the times of victorian and royalty ways. go on an empty stomach. you can select cute but heavy priced pastry. love the ambience.

we went there for breakfast in wednesday morning...staff was good & friendly but service was not quick though it was a weekday and restaurant was not crowded :(
i like the ambiance...all victorian style setup with little music!!
we ordered chickn crepe, pancake & hash brown...hash brwn n crepe was really good but for pancake i will not recommnd this restaurnt...much better pancakes are served at other places!!

my experience at shakespeare and co was horrible . after eating at various restaurants at the waterfront this was seriously one of my worst experiences for the following reasons :-

1) as the weather was good , i decided to sit outside however it was a horrible decision as we had 'cats' around the table.

2) when asked if we could shift the waiters let us however our food was bought from the previous table in like 10 mins .

3) the crepe was bought to our table cold from the kitchen.

4) when asked for the bill it took the staff about 20 mins to get it , and then the waiter was standing at he table , to that he could see if he is receiving a tip. horrible service

if you go to shakespeare, you must absolutely try their coffee and pastry.
and not to forget about their fish and chips. i've been to shakespeare more than 5 times and didn't hesitate to order dish and chips. the pasta was a little too cheesy.. but that could be handled with a little pepper.

what a lovely place! this was my first visit to majaz waterfront in the daytime, and it's absolutely beautiful. this cafe gets points just for being located here. the decor, similar to other s&c locations, is victorian and delightful to look at. 

the food was also excellent and hot. i like how we can customize our breakfast order. i also like the fact that they serve all day breakfast (how many of us can really get out of the house before noon on a weekend?). i love the lattes here. the coffees weren't hot but our server heated them up for us right away when we asked. the service was good but could be better.
