i ordered chicken briyani ,but i received paroto....useless management

food is too salty and cannot eat it... kindly ensure taste in your food

very tasty and good.

i ordered 2 parotta x 2 sets. but delivered one set. i called selvi mess given number. but no one picked. cheated.

i'd always known selvi mess kuska is the best but today unfortunately the taste was not even 50% of the regular taste. very much disappointed. hope selvi mess rectifies its mistakes and serve its customers to it's best.

occasionally me and my friends and even some time with my family i visited selvi mess.looking outside i felt like an local restaurant expected average taste but it's truly magical and awesome in taste.wide number of varieties particularly non veg items.killing taste.loved to hangover with friends and families the best and first choice......

i went to selvi mess to have a chicken briyani.. the quantity is high and with that chicjen briyani the provide a boiled egg... the chicken briyani is really tasty..

i went to salem to meet my friend. i thought to try this place as i am keep on hearing a lot of positive reviews.
i went to saturday it was crowded. one good thing about this restaurant is completely non veg. i got seated once i got into this restaurant. at first i have ordered mutton biriyani and pepper chicken.
mutton biriyani came very fast in a quick time and it was followed by pepper chicken. biriyani was good it had around 4 to 6 mutton pieces it was soft and cooked well. pepper chicken was equally good.

then we have ordered kushka, chicken masala and vanjaram fish fry. kushka had an boiled egg too. but highlight was chicken masala, even though it was oily i liked it a lot because of the taste and spicyness. then vanjaram fry was awesome. it was fresh one and fried well.

overall i had great dinning experience at this restaurant. it a must try place for non veg lovers!

one of the best places to eat non veg food in salem. the restaurant is very crowded most of the time. the taste is very good yet the quantity cam be improved. neat and hygienic. the flavours in the food are mind blowing.

the other selvi mess is good compared to this one ! food is not up to the mark and the service is also not up to the mark ! taste is very normal and it is a one time place to eat wid friends

one of the best places in salem. please don’t forget to try their chicken 65. it’s the best i’ve tasted ever in my life! and the mutton biriyani is to die for! for someone who loves authentic south indian non-vegetarian cuisine, this place is heaven, trust me!

after a pleasant morning bliss at yercaud, we were fighting to beat heat and humidity of salem town. we were welcomed by the superb ambience and hospitality of selvi mess. super hunger was bought to an end by some delicious non-veg thali. super hot white rice, chicken, mutton and fish gravy and some special side dishes made our lunch super grant. pepper chicken sukka was the highlight of all. chicken 65 was spicy and yummy. we finished with some real flesh blend of fruit juices. hope to make it to selvi mess again and it's a must try if your searching for a grant filling lunch.

we ordered mutton biryani, mutton sukka, chicken pepper fry and meals.

mutton biryani was typical salem/tamil style one which was good the gravies were amazing.

mutton sukka was good, chicken pepper fry was decent.

meals were not great... the potato curry was not cooked

the total bill with water bottle was 1500+. for 4 people

the meals cost you 110 which is on higher side.

walked in at about 9.30pm after a tiring drive from chennai. had their naatu kozhi briyani, egg dosa and chicken pepper curry.

tasted super yummy. i found the prices to be a bit on the higher side but that might be because i was also biased that food would cost cheaper outside of chennai. nevertheless, it's totally worth the money.
