close to my roots. finally , after months of anticipation, scuola vecchia opened its doors to the public. and, let me tell you.....it was worth the wait! my wife and i were quickly greeted by the owner , his beautiful mom and later, his wonderful dad. we ordered the classic neapolitan margherita with fior di latte cheese ( made on premises). later ,we finished with an authentic tiramisu and espresso. the taste was incredible and undescribable. this is naples ,italy in florida. the service was unprecedented in delray. we were never left unattended. and , then as if we hadn't had any surprises, the owner introduces us to the master pizzaiolo from keste pizzaria in nyc. he is carefully supervising the making of this wonderful pizza.
if you don't visit scuola vecchia, you are depriving yourself of a delightable experience. this place is the model by which all other pizzarias should imitate.
