had a delicious pizza at scopa the other day. it was a simple pizza: tomato base, a few prawns, rocket, and i added a good dose of chilli oil and it was absolutely divine. i was one piece off finishing the entire thing. i like the atmosphere here, it’s great on a sunny day when the doors are open and the sun pours in. the service here isn’t very good which is a shame. i asked if the pork on one of the pizza’s was free range and the young man gave some big story about how they imported all their ingredients from italy so it must be. when i asked another waitress, she said “i’ll just find out” she promptly came back and reported that it was. however, neither staff members were very friendly and took their time to take our order. the service here is way too casual and the wait staff are inexperienced. overall though, i really recommend this place, thefoodand ambience are delightful.
