our group arrived early, before 7am, and waited an hour for the cook to arrive to work to cook any food at all. the hostess/ waitress was very accommodating. we should have gotten complementary coffee or something for waiting so long.

they offer a small table in the back (party of 6-8 people) and give cheese tasting along with a menu. this gives you a chance to taste the variety of cheeses across the board. great experience to share with friends.

short review - excellent cheeses and i could die happy just eating there every day if they just keep feeding me all those wonderful cheeses. lots of tastings which is a great way to learn more about delicious and varieties of cheeses. love the place!

my cousin and i were exploring on saturday and happened upon this place. it's not hidden - we just don't get out much when visiting my grandmother. what a happy surprise. it's bright and clean and open. there are plenty of people to help you and they know cheese. they also don't seem to mind waiting while you dither over the selection. my cousin and i bought two cheeses based on recommendations and ate them while sipping a glass of wine and chatting. we could have stayed for hours - people watching was great and no one seemed to mind that we lingered. but, bottom line, the cheese is great.

i'm always up for trying artisan cheeses and wine, so scardello has been on my wish list for a while. i finally had the opportunity to go for the wine and cheese tasting on saturday, which they hold every weekend from 3-5. at $10/person, it's a great value and a fun experience. there are four wines paired with cheeses from the shop. the staff is helpful and knowledgable, and so we learned about the wine and cheeses right before trying each one. i didn't get to try anything else while there, but i definitely look forward to next time.

i grew up in belgium with cheese shops on each corner. this place makes me feel at home. all the staff is very knowledgeable and nice.

why not treat yourself?. whether you want to treat yourself to a very sophisticated bite or go hog wild and make an evening of incredible selections, this establishment is exciting. exciting that they let you try what you might want to purchase. exciting that you really are about to experience a calming treat. exciting that scardello is in dallas!

do you like artisan cheese (and paying for it)? this is the place for you. the place smells phenomenal. this review though is for the $8.50 chewy tough meat sandwich i had, the pickled rueben: great flavors that was not helped with the rubbery meat inside. so sad, not worth the trip or hassle of parking. should have had a cheese sandwich instead.

scardello has wonderful artisinal cheeses , they also have great sandwiches, the cheese plates make a great lunch - they will help you with choosing which cheeses to try , beer, wine and soft drinks available - the ploughmans lunch is killer. wo wonderful cheese tasting classes - i love this place and the staff is very friendly!!!!!
