typical south indian meals, if that's what you're looking out for. feels authentic, thefoodand the ambiance (:p). their variety of side dishes in the thali are really good, and you must definitely get the thali if you're going here for the first time, or if you just have difficulty deciding. overall, definitely worth a visit. the service could be better, but may be they were trying to be too authentic.

went for lunch at on the way from san franscisco to los angeles. there was a decent crowd even on a weekday lunch hour. the menu does not differ too much from chennai or dubai for that matter.
compared to other south indian vegetarian establishments , thefoodis noticeably more reasonably priced, upto 20-30% cheaper.
you gotta go check it out if you like your dosas and happen to be around in the bay area.

visited sangeetha for lunch with my colleague today. thefoodis authentic and reminded me of the taste from chennai. i went for the south indian thali and some coffee and was completely satisfied by the time i was done.
items on my order
south indian thali and coffee., the south indian thali included rice, chapati or poori, kurma, papad, taro root sabji, tomato onion gravy, kootu, sambar, rasam, pickle, sweet and curd.
