what a gem!!. i read about sampino's recently and realized it was near my office, and as i've driven up 16th imadea mental note of its location. today i finally had lunch there and it was fantastic! we had a little bit of a wait, but nothing excruciating, and they offered us a canolli on the house because of it. what a down to earth, charming little place. i'm officially a loyal customer who will bring everyone i know there - good quality, fresh ingredients and a friendly atmosphere is all i need.
