please try it! lovely place, authentic well prepared polish food and gracious service. small well chosen wine list. try the sausages and the crepe with farmer cheese. i am so impressed with the number of small independent restaurants in melbourne.

great!. found this on urban spoon. tried it because menu looked different from normal grind. drove up, and had second thoughts, because was in a strip mall. but, gave it a try. polish. waiters appeared to speak polish, so maybe this is a family enterprise. service and food were outstanding. decor is nice, with tablecloths and nice napkins, but it is still pretty plain - but tasteful (no pun intended). was not crowded, which was a surprise considering the good food. entrees were mostly $14-19 with a couple that were higher or lower. waiter seemed a little stand-offish at first, but we asked for recommendations and he was very friendly and helpful. i tried the duck - it was perfect (i don't like it fatty, and it wasn't). my wife had the special of the day - some sort of meat-filled balls. did not sound great, but they tasted great. we will definitely eat here again.

great change of pace.... the polish/continental menu features things like pierogis, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage, chicken paprika, potato pancakes, etc. friendly, attentive service in a cozy, family run restaurant.
