we visited the place for an early dinner looking at the reviews of the place, to our surprise, we ended up spending 4 hours at the place. not only did we have a couple of beers and a sheesha to follow. the atmosphere of the place is brilliant and the owner of the place manoj is an excellent human being and a very amazing singer.

coming to the food, which brought us here, it was simply amazing, the head chef pritam is a magician, we praised him to the staff for the quality and the taste of thefoodalong with the portion size, he was courteous enough to step out of the kitchen and come and meet us.

the service staff, govind who was serving our table, was an ever smiling and very very humble human being, we were sitting and hadn't ordered for a bit, despite the place being pack and a waiting outside, not one of the staff member asked us to leave. hanuman, who served sheesha, was always ready to recharge the coal.

overall, this was one of the best experiences in goa thus far, i would recommend that anyone who visits goa, must visit salt! 6/5 stars

the staff are courteous and thefoodis good. i love the ambience. should definitely go there once if you don't want to put a hole in your pocket

out of my 23 years of existence, travelling to over 15+ countries, living in 2 different continents, and experiencing culinary diversity. this was unequivocally, by far the most absolute garbagefoodi’ve tasted. my god. if you want to kill someone’s sense of life and joy, strip away everything that makes them whole, feed them the “dynamite shrimp”, it sure is dynamite alright, the amount of mayo they put on their “dynamite shrimp” was like being served a bukkake bowl, this should be called the “bukkake shrimp”. the chicken lolipop was so undercooked i could still hear the chicken clucking in its 2x2 cage before it had to have the misfortune of being disrespected by not even being cooked right. don’t get me started on the “butter garlic naan”, holy balls we’re in india and it felt like a white guy named frank is trying to impress sonya, 25 from tinder, with his culinary excellence youtube masterclass taught by another dude named bob. the only thing good about this entire thing was the sweet delivery guy.

this is what you call an allrounder restaurant. great ambience, deliciousfoodand amazing service. there was live music in the evening. the chef recommendations and flavors were pretty bang on. we enjoyed our hearty meal. thank you salt for serving us. definitely going to be back for more fun and good vibes. and you also get 20% discount on zomato pro👍.

this was my second visit to salt as we were mesmerized by thier service,foodquality and ambience of the restaurant.

sad to say an evening planned as a suprise for our guest soon translated an embarrassment for us.

to begin with the sound system was extra loud. thefoodmenu had changed which was a huge turn off.

the service was pathetic. not once did the staff ask for our orders. we had to search and call them to place our order.

the mocktail served were room temperature. i suppose a lime soda would be more relishing and refreshing.

the chicken served was salty and we brought this to the attention of the staff only to be met with a blank expression

the fish tikka and fish fingers were the only saving face which were better served.

the worst was yet to come. chicken manchow soup was served cold as it it was cooked in prior and microwaved for us.

this was a huge turnoff. no point in ordering any further and we decideded to call it a night after a horrible service experience and a huge let down with thefoodserved.

visited near new year in night around 11 pm.

ordered smoothie, mojito and honey chilli potato. thefoodwas good, due to overcrowding the service suffered a bit which was to be expected but the ambience is so good. it makes you forget any hiccups you may face.

the live music/karaoke, dance sessions is so amazing and everyone there feels lik3 a part of a big family partying together.

totally worth a visit if you're in north goa.

a wonderful place for an evening dinner with family & friends.. their karaoke is the best, i guess only in the evening time it happens.. good veggie as well as non veg options. the owner himself sings beautiful old hindi songs.
over all a great place to havefoodand enjoy goa.
out of our 3 days stay at goa, we had dinner twice at salt..

nice place for authentic goanfoodin arpora, near baga. the wait staff is very friendly, courteous and efficient. a special thanks to our wait person peter menezes who was very helpful with his suggestions. i highly recommend the crispy fried calamari, chicken xacuti and goan kingfish curry and rice. my only suggestion would be to serve the local ‘ukdo’ rice instead of basmati for a more authentic dining experience.
the ambiance is top notch.

absolutely gem of a place … greatfoodand ambience. its a must visit. the staff is also great. they have a cat too which you can pet.
