what we went for: family dinner after a visit to the google office
ambience: pleasant, filled to the brim on a monday evening with mostly indian origin folks, the 1980’s inspired fibre optic light decor caught my eye..
what we ordered: paneer tikka, grilled meat platter, chettinad chicken, butter chicken, biryani, rice, bread basket, lassi to go around
price: usd 300 for a family size of 10
verdict: seating took a while which was disappointing but given our group size and lack of reservation i really should not be complaining ; service was polite and helpful..
the most important test- the food ...was out of the world!!!!
the bite, texture and taste of the paneer tikka was divine.. all life’s follies were forgotten in that blissful bite...
the grilled meat platter was equally succulent.. the fish was flaky, steaming and just unbelievable!!! i had somehow unwittingly stumbled upon the best north west frontier food from the indian sub continent all the way in mountain view, california!
i am not joking but every single dish was simply outstanding!the malai kofta in my opinion was worthy of my high praise thought my fellow diners were not as convinced!
the biryani was brilliant too.. but i had eaten enough and as much as i wanted to stuff my innards with all this deliciousness, i had to finally reluctantly say enough!
would i return?? just for this restaurant yes i would all the way from dubai:)...
