rude staff, terrible service. my partner and i made a lunchtime reservation for sakana as we've been before and had a good experience previously. we arrived to find the restaurant half empty with plenty of tables. the table we were allocated was very noisy and hot (there's an outdoor dining area) we asked politely if we could move to another of the empty tables.
the waitress said she didn't know but would check with the manager. the manager arrived and very rudely told us we couldn't move, no explanation. during our visit the tables remained empty.
we ordered entrees and mains and one of the entrees arrived and not the other. we asked the waitress to check and the other entree arrived about 10 minutes after the first. the same thing happened for the main course, no apologies or explanation from the staff. all in all, a very unpleasant experience. thefoodwas ok, nothing to rave about and would have been nice if we'd been able to eat our meals at the same time.
