we have been eating at saffron from long time. but first time ordered something and got disappointed. ordered paneer chowmin and specially instructed the restaurant. they even agreed but didn't fulfill it. packaging was very very poor. taste was bland. i have had chowmin from the sameplaceit used to be good but seems they have degraded the quality. less veggies and paneer cubes really made me upset and i would not recommend anyone to order in from saffron. if you want go there and eat so that they can moderate it accordingly. otherwise nobody will care.

in food we ordered as follows...

1)crispy baby corn.
2)paneer tikka masala.
3)punjabi paneer masala.
4)butter nan.

cryspi baby corn was well prepared and was very tasty.

punjabj paneer masala presentation was good. quantity was good was well prepared paneer was soft and delicious gravy was tasty.

paneer tikka masala was also good and its taste was up to the mark.

butter naan was well baked and was loaded with butter.

ambiance was good.

neat and clean place.

needs to improve in service.

sefety measures were taken with social distance.

i have recently visited displaceand my experience was very bad as the staffs dont have manners how to talk after they failed to deliver the food after making us wait for half nd hour.

in our recent trip to varanasi the city of lord shiva, we had a lot of street food and also visited this beautiful restaurant at godaulia chock. thisplaceis proper family restaurant with lots of space to sit and have a food. 

we ordered 2 special thali from their huge menu. the quantity of the food was more than what we expected and the food was more than enough for 3 persons. the taste was really good, specially paneer was great. 

thisplaceis a must try in old varanasi area, even thisplaceis great for family get togethers. 

over all rating 4.5/5

this is a budget restaurant for vegetarians with lot of varieties in paneer. i had chilli kofta paneer. it was sufficient for two people and really good in taste. its goodplaceto go with family for dinner.

the service and the ambience was good.even the seating was good too.we went to thisplacefor lunch. the items served in the deluxe thali were tasty. the mixed fried rice and the veg munchurian were more than sufficient for two persons.
i didn't like the paneer kofta much. the stuffing consisted more flour than needed. the butter nan were soft.
