good, but one negative. i have come to the new rusty beagle a few times now. prior to that, my husband and i frequented the restaurant that was previously in this location multiple times over the last couple of years. i would say we visited multiple times per month, on average.
the restaurant has great drink specials, and now you have arcade games, pool, etc to keep entertained. the many tvs are great, and the fun atmosphere is really good.
the one big drawback is thekitchenstaff. this is the reason i mentioned we'd been here many times in the past. i noticed the new owners of the beagle kept the samekitchenstaff as was there while this was johnny g's/casa g's. i have never liked thiskitchenstaff for one big reason. any items we order are almost consistently served incorrectly and/or not garnished. we have ordered cheeseburger sliders in the past that came out with no cheese - they actually only came out with the beef, buns, and a pickle once (seriously?). not how they are listed on the menu. we have ordered salads that come with ranch per the menu, but when they are brought to us, no salad dressing is included. we're not rabbits! we've ordered main dishes with sides, and the sides never came. on our most recent stop in now that it is the beagle, i learned the hard way that thekitchenstaff has not changed. we ordered a plate of appetizer nachos that the menu indicates come with salsa and pico. no salsa or pico was given with our order. with nachoes that are nothing but chips, cheese, and jalapenos, the plate looked ridiculous without the garnish items. given that the staff is the same, i should have expected this.
if thiskitchenstaff doesn't start paying attention to what is listed on the ticket, learning the items on the menu, and garnishing the food appropriately, i may quit eating there. it's just too much of a hassle (and annoyance) to go somewhere to eat where my food is served incorrectly more often than it is served correctly. it's really a shame, because it's a fun place to hang out, but i won't keep doing it if i end up being annoyed by going there.
the new owners need to address this item.
