had dinner here for my son's birthday.. the ambience is really good in here.. they had served-to-table-thali-buffet.. punugulu and mini rava idly served for appetizer were okay.. but i loved the paneer tikka and corn cheese wraps which were so good and i kept asking for more.. the mint chutney was not served for a really long time but the tikka's taste overcame the requirement for the chutney.. the veg biryani, palak paneer in main course were notable ones.. the sweet pongal in dessert was kind too over sweet.. the best of all i liked was the cake they provided for my son's birthday.. it was super soft and very tasty.. had been to the other restaurant there sometime back and was very impressed with their pastry then too..
overall wouldn't say the price was really justified but a good option for vegetarian family outing..

best dining experience enjoyed by my family in royal indianaa. thank you

i am based in sydney and wanted to arrange a surprise family lunch during diwali festival.. i was communicating with mr john during the whole process. he was courteous, kind and with patience he listened to my request and helped me arranged the lunch for my family.

the entire process was so smooth and hassle free with mr john..thank you so much for that.

it was my family first visit to royal indianaa and they enjoyed the unlimited tasty variety starter, main course vegetarian food served on table , complimented the ambience , felt royal . thanks again.

well it was quite a variety to eat.
mostly you would be full while finishing the starters itself.
usual indian starters such as paneer, vadai, paniyaram and few others.
(i am sorry that i am unable to recollect all of it)
the main course was a buffet and i my appetite was full. hence i was unable to try all of it.
they had variety rices, gravies, sambar, rasam and papads. i tried the vegetable biryani and i liked it.
dessert again had a lot of varieties. you can choose and eat your own favourite flavour.

charging money for the food is business but living upto it something not every restaurant yearns too. but accord hits out of the park. we went for a vegetarian buffet. right from the quality of food to variety they offer coupled with courteous service is outstanding. they really want to stuff your stomach with food. price , well its more than worth the price you pay for.

not as good as expected. startes are good. main course spread is good and tastes okiesh. desserts are not at all good. gulab jamun and ice cream are the only dessert that tasted good. on whole not worth the cost.

updating this review based on my recent dining experience.

what a pathetic letdown for a well known hotel. we had booked a table but was given one after an hour. hoped at least the food would make up for it but was very bland, oily, tasteless, unappetizing and not served hot. starters were a mix of cutlets, adai, paneer, mushrooms, banana dosa. main course too isn’t neither here nor there. again a mix of temple puliogare, dahi bindi, kaju biryani, ennai kathrikai ,etc which were all extremely bland.
when asked, we got an appalling answer that 40 people had requested mild food that day and that was the reason everyone were served the same. if that’s true, this restaurant doesn’t know to run it.

the manager called having read review and had no idea about ‘the catering’. irresponsible staff! we had gone for a special occasion. that’s 3500 for 3 people - horrible waste of money and time!

reviewing the diwali lunch spread - hospitality was good. menu for the day was described and we were given a welcome drink. the soup - paruppu inji charu was outstanding, hot and perfect for the october weather. what we liked the most was their starter platter that consisted of carrot adai, ragi mundiri paniyarams, mini podi idlies, paneer tikka, grilled fruits , crispy cutlets. everything was served crisp and steaming and tasted delicious. kal dosa and rotis were served on the table too. opted to have the kal dosa dripping in ghee with murungai sambhar and vathakuzhambhu - a combination that was truly delicious. found the main course to be ok, not bad with sambhar, rasam, salads, pasta, curd rice, etc. desserts were passable - nothing much to impress. overall good experience. .

we wanted to try out the buffet during weekdays. unfortunately or fortunately we ended up being there during onam.

the starter and main course were packed with onam delicacies. original and tasty. for those who are not comfortable with the kerala red rice (part of the onam tradition), white rice was also available.

the usual desserts along with onam speciality, pradaman was available.

good food, great ambience, fantastic service.

we celebrated our parents 28th wedding anniversary here. i called the restaurant beforehand and informed them of the occasion and the restaurant was gracious enough and made the occasion more special by adding a chocolate mousse cake on the house. the food was good, the starters and desserts especially were their strongest suite. after starters and helping ourselves with a couple of desserts, there was simply no place for main course. i liked the subzi biriyani and vegetable stew especially, along with malabari parathas. great value for money, good ambient and a great place to spend time with your loved ones.

had lunch buffet today. first time we went for a veg buffet, and it was really good. had one welcome drink and one soup, 10 starters, and wide varieties of main course and deserts. ambience was really very good. was better than many pure veg hotels. per person it was rs. 899 and inclusive of tax for four it came up to rs. 4423. service could have been better. would have given 5 stars if their service was better.

food- 5/5.
ambience- 5/5.
service- 3/5 ( we almost waited for about 8-10 mins for each and every starters)

one of the best veg buffet, i would say but it would have been better. as we entered, they confirmed the booking through zomato but did not inform or brief about the varieties hence i directly went for main course. later they served us with starters, soup etc.....soup was not that much great but starters were fine. champion of buffet was enna kathirikai kozhambu followed by sambar and rasam.....except the initial part rest went fine throughout the buffet. a must try ......

we took the pure vegetarian buffet, on the new year day. new year spread was more extensive and costly too (inr 10k for 4 adults, 3 children).
most lavish spread of dishes.
soups and at least 8 starters served on the table.
buffet spread had rice, biriyani, gravies, nan, sambar, rasam, curries. (at least 15 main dishes).
dessert counter had at least 20 choices with 3 ice creams.
live carnatic music was in the background.
food made the celebration memorable.
