excellent food, service and ambience. one of the best buffets at chennai. for the price we paid, the fare was well laid out and served with great finesse. delicious starters, main course just fine and desserts were good. wine was on the house too. if it's a party, or a get together with family and friends, this is a great choice.

this place bring out the best of the moods in you if you are looking for a quite afternoon lunch.
none of there offerings was a disappointment.
staff is well behaved and service levels are pretty good.
there starters are super delicious and same goes with the desserts. a bit on a higher side for the money you spent,but your expections will not be washed out by the experience u will be treated with.
a must visit place according to me.

good and pleasant restaurant. serves only veg buffet with beer n fresh juices. starters are very filling. other food items r good. but limited variety. they can add few more items to menu. juices r very fresh n truly natural without any external mixing. a good place to spend time with.

i had been to this restaurant in aug 2014 with family for a dinner on a weekday evening. it was a memorable experience indeed. the hotel staff were really courteous and made our experience an unforgettable one. now going on to the specifics,

pros : 
0.  welcome drink -- fresh watermelon juice that i took gave the perfect start to the dinner. 
1. starters were awesome and an interesting mix of south indian, north indian, continental and chinese. the staffers who were supplying the starters were so good.
2. the carnatic music that was being played out was excellent
3. the main course also had a good spread of jain food, south and north indian dishes. but we had so much of starters that we couldnt taste all the items in the main course
4. desserts -- fruits, pasteries, sweets and ice cream completed the full course meal
5. last but not the least, the kerala parotta which i tasted was just fantastic

cons:
all of us felt that most of the dishes were fairly bland, meaning lesser salt and spicy. probably atleast some of the dishes could have been made spicier to give a good mix. 

in summary, i would definitely recommend this restaurant for people who want to taste luxury pure veg dining experience in chennai

you would expect a lot more out of a 5 star buffet. but, this one is a weak attempt to meet the expectations. granted, it's a vegetarian fare and that by itself is a disappointment to meat lovers. there are about 8 vegetarian starters served in the table - each exactly one piece. about 4 were good and 4 were just pass. after serving the starters, the waiter asked if we wanted any more starters... a la kabab factory style. i thought he must be kidding and asked him another round of everything. he obviously thought i was kidding and just brought exactly 4 more randomly selected starters (out of the 8). after that, he disappeared. as we were a small group discussing business, i couldn't focus much on the food except that i wasn't getting my stuff delivered to the table. unlike barbeque nation, where the focus is on starters, we had to grumpily start for the buffet. to my utter disbelief, there was just one palav and 6 side dishes - almost all of them looking ok but tasting very average. (there was one bindhi item, one brinjal item, one peas item etc... you get the picture). the waiter appeared asking if we needed any bread and disappeared the moment we said 'no'. dessert was limited but good.

overall, i will definitely not recommend this place for meat lovers (for the simple reason that the average buffet in a 3 star would be better any day). vegetarians may want to question whether this is worth the money.

outstanding food + service + live carnatic music.
all the appetizers, main course, desserts were of great taste and sumptuous. would definitely recommend this restaurant.
our waiter told us that they change the menu every 3 days and the carnatic music is only during dinner.
appetizers were a wide variety (10?), main course included north indian, gujarathi, south indian & italian/american. desserts included cheese cakes (lychee, mango), several variety of pastries, ice cream + topping (walnuts, cherry/syrup) & couple of indian desserts.

recommend making reservations although when we went (around 7) on a sunday evening the place was just getting busy.

only surprise in the bill was 110/- for the water.

a treat for the vegetarians, especially the starters and the way they are served at your table with the sauces and chuttney makes it even better.  main course was a mixture of both south & north indian cuisine along with salads and few chat items.   had to skip through the main course to have room for desserts. desserts were good, but could have had a bit more variety, all in all a very good experience. ambiance good, service was even better. loved it, been there twice with family on weekends.

had i rated this place after my first visit - we were so impressed that it would have been a 4 or 4.5. however, after the past 2 visits, the excitement has died down.

service has been top notch during all our visits - they definitely know how to host their patrons. but the food department is where they seem to have started bungling of late. the spread seems to have become boring - especially the dessert section that i almost skipped completely yesterday.

among starters, loved the paneer & corn popcorns and bbq paneer. others were passable. main course had another 'jain' paneer dish that stood out. paneer pulao, amritsari daal, sambar & kovakka were some of the other items. curd rice with karuvepallai poondu kozhambu left the best impression though.

as mentioned earlier, desserts were a big let down - not appealing at all. hoping this would be fixed soon as otherwise this is a great option for vegetarians.

i went there for my dad's bday.. we were greeted by the warm and courteous staff.. it was a weekday so we were the first set of people at around 8.30 p.m.. we were given a complimentary drink being a dhal soup..it was excellent..we were also offered fresh juice..i chose watermelon..boy the juice was so fresh and good..starters were served at the table..10 varieties of veg starters and all of them were just fantastic..first time in my life my stomach was full eating veg food..the main course was equally good..desserts were just amazeballs but i did not have space to fill myself with the desserts.. any vegetarian out there don't even think abt not going here..it's worth every penny..this is coming from a hardcore non vegetarain :d

i have been here for some of family function s. .it's located in t nagar. .compare to other star hotels dis one is cheaper..but the taste of food are not up to de mark. .for its money. the hotel rooms are very clean & fine to stay a night der. .if ur looking for a cheap price buffet in a star hotel. .dis one is de best choice. go for it. ..preferred for mainly function s. ..

i'm here with my wife and my brother. the place is fantastic, amazing ambience with flute music in the background. all the 10 starters served were too good and all were different variety. desserts were also superb and everything was without egg and pure veg.. a must try for all the veggie lovers.. overall a good place to be :)
