roobaru, located in downtown dubai is a new contemporary indianrestaurantwhich serves indian food with a twist.

must haves from here are:
sharjah sambusa- cheddar cheese and onion stuffed samosa with sweet yoghurt, khatta meetha chutney, topped with oman chips.
papdi smack- indian papdi with toppings like pickled apricot, pomegranate and radish. super crunchy!
amchi thecha wings (have this only if you love spicy food. it was super duper spicy, mind it)
beef pepper fry (the mallu in me couldn’t have been happier)
konkan prawns curry (this coconut gravy with kokum was simply divine)
truffle kulcha - something quite different and enjoyable!
nani’s chawal- try it for yourself to believe how this simple rice could taste so good

chef yadav had cured an appetizing modern menu and we were totally impressed with the food and ambience.

we recommend their sharjah sambusa, prawn inchipuli and tandoori baby poussin for starters.
lamb chops, chicken dum biriyani & paneer makhani were our choice of mains.lamb chops were juicy and flavorful.chicken biriyani was just perfect.we enjoyed the rich and creamy paneer makani with their hot breads.

their mocktails menu is brilliant and loved it all.
roobaru boba is also a must try here.their dessert tastes as good as it looks.lived the chom chom & gondhuraj kulfi.

we simply enjoyed the food and vibe.
highly recommend this place.

today, i went in thisrestaurantto have something special veggies curry and had so yummy purslane leaves curry with nani,s rice....

lunched at roobaru last weekend and i have to say that it is a lovely addition to downtown dubai’s food scene. it’s a contemporary indian cuisinerestaurantserving the indian classics with a twist. i was dazzled by everything about this place - ambiance, service, food plating and presentation.

my recommendations would be
papdi smack (indian tostada, topped with lentil chaat, pickled apricot, pomegranate and radish)
sharjah sambusa (cheddar cheese and onion samosa, with yoghurt, date and tamrind chutney, topped with a packet of oman chips)
thecha wings (a must try if you love the green chilli spice. the wings are nicely coated in this spicy peanut dressing)
axomiya seabass (the fillet is cooked to perfection in a banana leaf with aromatic spices)
truffle kulcha (one of the best kulchas i’ve had)
konkan prawn curry (southern style coconut prawn curry)
pannacotta payasam (a jiggly sweet milk flavoured pannacotta with pineapple coulis)
and in the drinks - gulabo & golden milk

overall, a great experience.

roobaru has quickly become my new favorite indianrestaurantin town. amazing staff, exceptional flavors and lovely atmosphere. their dal is a must try and their sharjah sambusa is out of this world, to name a few. 5 stars across the board, can’t wait to be back! wish they would deliver to more areas soon!

roobaroo is the new hotspot for foodies who is looking for fresh and good quality meal in downtown dubai.

we tried this newly openedrestaurantfor a special occasion diwali with friends in a group of 20 people not to forget all vegetarians!

we were warmly welcomed, for starters we tried their talk of the town papdi smack and sharjah sambusa, both of their signature dishes were really amazing and something which is unique! we also tried their paneer roti and corn hummus.

coming to mains, we were suggested paneer makhani and house daal (black daal), to be honest since long i was looking for such black daal in dubai and finally i could find that in roobaru! also their khulchas were nice.

hands down, fantastic service and food was super quick for 20 people without any delay. they also helped us to get something made for infants and children.

thank you to an amazing entire roobaru team for taking care of us so well and giving us top notch service of fine dining standards ! must try yourself and definitely recommended to all. will be going back soon ! one of the best indianrestaurantin dubai ❤️❤️❤️

we tried number of things and everything was so flavorful and delicious.
