sunday brunch. the place is absolutely stunning. its very old world, ornately decorated. its almost over the top. its actually relatively new (built in the 70's) but you would think it was the 1870's. very gilded age.
brunch itself was lavish. they had all the usual brunch stuff, omelet stations, turkey, ham, extensive desserts. everything was very good. at $28 a head, hardly inexpensive. many of the parties seemed to be celebrating special occasions, lots of birthday parties, mostly for kids or grandmothers (we were the latter group).
its a fine brunch for these kind of events.
