righteous gelato

tasty but pricey. great taste (tried the "white chocolate raspberry"), but $5 for about a 1/2 cup?? eeekkk, hurt my wallet today.

decent gelato but not worth the price they charge.

hit or miss. i had fiasco samples at a few food events and the flavours were not great. however, my husband loves the frozen hot chocolate and some of the fruit flavours are good. others, not so much: the salted caramel is vile. i am pretty sure they use bottled torani coffee syrup, which tastes nothing like caramel. it's the only ice cream i have ever purchased that i considered throwing out. their homemade marshmallows look great but can be super grainy. they make a rose flavour which i was excited for because i will go out of my way for anything with rose oil, but they add so much that it's almost too strong to eat and tastes greasy. the consistency of the gelato is always good but they have to work on their flavours and stop using packaged flavourings. i've had several that aren't very good at all, which, for the price, is not cool. village ice cream is only a bit more pricey and far better.

the gelato is unbelievable! you just have to go try it - salted caramel, mango pineapple, frozen hot chocolate (with tiny frozen marshmallows in it)! the factory is a cafe too. the folks that work there are cool!

fiasco gelato- packaging: beautiful. great font, clear pint container in pete plastic.   gelato: a decent amount of  vanilla bean bits in madagascar vanilla, but flavour was surprisingly bland.   the colour and texture were opaque-  more like sorbet- not creamy, not dense, not rich. cost: very pricey for what you get.  a mediocre gelato with a premium price.

great atmosphere! got the whole workshop with an open space, cafe area at the front for ice cream & drinks. they used to serve sandwiches & paninis as well, but have since streamlined to just focus on ice cream, which makes sense. quality staff, gelato, and beverages!

my sister is the one that introduced me to fiasco gelato when she brought it over for dinner one night. since then, i’ve been dying to check out their main headquarters. we finally made it out on an early sunday evening. cute slogan: you can buy happiness. the inside is huge! they’ve got pints to take home, merch (their socks are pretty cute) and a gelato flavour suggestion box. someone make avocado mango please!

the bomb.com. great place to stop for a coffee when biking with the kid. in a weird out of the way spot in an industrial park. tons of flavours you can't get anywhere. dad loaded up on dark chocolate salted caramel. way rich. it's like a prime rib roast but frozen. can hardly move. coffee is from another planet. call a medic.

fiasco gelato has been a staple for me when i go to conventions and shows at the bmo. i like to try their different flavours of gelato and sorbetto.  the dining area in the front is small, but i think people don't usually dine in or stay that long. i like how you can see into the kitchen area. they also have an academy which they run in the evenings to teach people how their gelato are made. it looks very hands-on and you get to bring all the gelato home. the price is a little steep, but i think it would be worth it. i just need some friends to do this with me.
i have been to the cafe a couple of times to buy their pints. recently, i have decided to dine in and try one of that sandwiches and take out a sundae. on an interesting note, one of co-workers saw an article online from the daily hive, "62 things to eat and drink in calgary before you die", published in june of this year. fiasco gelato is on the list with their frozen hot chocolate.

omg, this place is too cute with lots cool decoration. fiasco is a little shop in an industry area, a local calgarian businessthis is an ice cream factory with a store front selling their gelato. not many favor to choice, but they all tasted really good. they do have more favor if you buy a pint and take out. we ordered a large bunty bar to share. the flavor was great and rich. a great place to relax!

i love fiasco gelato!they have so many tasty and creative flavours that i no longer have any storage space in my freezer. i also love their house made marshmallows, so spongy and delicious :)

hello my name is deanna and i am a gelato addict.. some people smoke, some drink, some gamble and i eat fiasco gelato. my freezer is full! there are so many amazing kinds i just can't decide and buy them all. creative flavours, made with quality ingredients in small batches, less fat than ice cream and priced better than ben and jerry's- how can you go wrong?!

best gelato in calgary, hands down!

not impressed. purchased the banana gram cracker gelato. at almost 7 bucks a pop, i expected a quality product. what i received was sub-par, gummy, over churned, and false flavored, with more ingredients than corner store ice cream. not what i expected from a supposed "quality" ice cream. i'd take ben an jerry's over this any day.

the most amazing mango!. fiasco's truck was at global fest this year and i seriously went everynight to get the mango gelato. so refreshing and so flavourful, i thought i was bitting into a mango! the staff are super friendly and have a great sense of humour. i recommend their gelato and gang to anyone!

p.s. try the mangggo!!
