bravo!. the sauce is zesty and delicious. we got the ken's market combo and all the toppings were excellent and in proper proportions. they weren't heaped on top (like some other pizza restaurants in the area that start with a "z") but rather blended in nicely with the cheese. i've never seen a gourmet pizza where the slices are perfectly cut all the way through in perfect little slices. don't blame these guys if someone can't figure out how to pull a piece of pizza from a pie. we had no problem getting our pieces out...not rocket science. crust thickness is a little ambiguous. crispy thin crust in the middle of the pie, but as you get towards the outer edge it's more doughy medium crust. basically the crust is damn tasty and is cooked properly even though our pie had varying thickness. fine by me, just as long as it's not deep dish. savory blend of cheeses. parmesan, provolone, and mozzarella? my mouth wants to keep eating but my stomach can't hold anymore!
we actually got our pizza to go on a wednesday but when we walked in at 6pm there were a couple booths taken and a couple people sitting at the bar. somegoodmusic playing in the background. didn't seem that loud. must depend on day and time, but if it is agoodrestaurant, wouldn't you be suspect if some nights it wasn't bustling and busy? if this place is full of course it's going to be noisy. if you want quiet, get it to go, or go drink $100+ bottles of wine (pinky in the air) along with your pizza over at cornuto.
