red lizard taqueria

wanted to try this place since i've been passing by it every time i go to it park. lo and behold red lizard taqueria. their nachos are reallygoodand worth the price because they serve a hearty and well layered topping and masa chip combo. their margarita and mojitos are affordable so yeaygooddrinks to pair with those nachos. the taquitas' size though was not what i was expecting but they recovered for thegoodflavor. i recommend you guys to go carbo-loading here especially before games 🏈. the interior was really eye-catching and artsy and i especially love their take-out paper bags, gotta feel the mexican love for that.

tasty and spicy yet pricey. burritos, tacos, chorizo. a new place in it park. a lil bit pricey considering the serving size,goodfor teens.

i usually visit this place because of their mojito. i’m not a huge drinker but so far, they have the best. not so strong but it has a kick. it would probably take half a pitcher to get me tipsy. plus they have free nachos per order of a mojito pitcher. i love that they have great dips like queso and salsa! i did not like the bean thing though.

wrapping it up, red lizard should be your go-to place if you just want to chill. also, the place isn’t that crowded and they have suchgoodambience.

we ordered the chipotle chicken taquitos, pork carnitas soft shell tacos, so cal queso fries. all the food was very good. they hadgoodservice and friendly staff. there were also fun sauces.

would 100% come back again and again when i have taco cravings.

i had pork carnitas soft tacos and additional jalapeños. it was presented nicely that it was so enticing. i love the slices of colors. i also found the p29 additional jalapeños worth the price. i had more than enough that i wasn’t able to finish it with the tacos.

for my drinks, i wanted the calamansi but it wasn’t available. the staff offered me the mango juice but i was hesitant since i am avoiding sweets. they convinced me to try it still, saying that they don’t put sugar in it anyway. i’m glad they did! it wasgoodand provided comfort when i was happily suffering by choice from the jalapeños.

can’t wait to try the other dishes!

authentic mexican food in cebu. quite pricey but serving isgoodfor sharing already. very nice interior design. staff are friendly. always a go to place whenever i crave mexican food.

if you are craving for a rich mexican taste then this might be a place for you. strong mexican flavours is a definite in their food. ambiance is pretty cozy and vibrant. they do have agoodcustomer service and have great locations. price: 4/5 , food: 5/5, ambiance: 5/5.

i’ve been waiting for agoodmexican restaurant and finally abaca group of companies opened red lizard. my “usual” is their soft taco with beef, but i’ve tried it in pork and chicken and it is just oh so good! arroz a la plancha is for the rice eaters and order this with chorizo + egg! have i told you about their quesadilla? the cheese and jalapeno, i could still taste it right now. it is that good!

inexpensive but you get the hearty feel that you’re supposed to get with mexican food!

had an enjoyable evening talking with friends while munching on their delicious mexican fare. the servings weregoodfor sharing and it leaves you with a satisfied tummy afterwards. we didn't even get to finish the whole overloaded so-cal fries because we were just too full. the free dips were too watery for me though. prices aren't too pocket-friendly but this is mexican food (i don't know if there's any cheap mexican restaurant in cebu, if there's any, pls let me know 😊).

the place is small but the wall decor is interesting. they really created a whole cast of characters (luchador) who participate in lucha libre. the place exudes a fun vibe and you can spend a few hours just drinking and talking with friends.

how lucky i am to have found this spot in cebu! i didn't know it existed until we passed by it. the place gives you a semi-casual feel. you have to order your food at the counter and then they serve it to you. at the counter, we were greeted by a courteous cashier who told us what best to order.

nachos macho - sulit! it'sgoodfor 3-4 people and it's really loaded. for 239php you get everything you wished for in a nachos. homemade salsa, beans cooked in bacon, generous serving of taco beef - what more can you ask for? the taste is also legit! highly recommended!

arroz ala plancha - now this, this one i more than liked! and it's gluten free! how can something sogoodbe *kind of* guilt free all at the same time? the serving size is generous and will leave you craving for months! best with different types of salsa you can find at their condiments counter.

at night, a live singer will serenade you to give that chill out spot vibe. we were enjoying ourselves we ordered mojitos to cap off the night.

will definitely come back and recommend. wish they branch out to manila or let me bring it for them! haha!

i love when i come here. this taqueria has great mojitos, yummy nachos, and large servings that are more than worth it for the price.

it doesn't get overcrowded (yey!) although i think their acoustic nights should be held outside the establishment -- red lizard's space is too small and the music from a live singer can get too loud. luckily, their singers last time are actually good. 😁

their staff members are really friendly, which i always like. i love restaurants that have bothgoodfood andgoodservice, and so far, red lizard delivered each time i went there. consistency is key, guys. :)

the place is easy to spot. i tried their burrito with pork carnitas since i only wanted a snack and i was not disappointed at all. it wasn't soggy, well flavored and withgoodportions of meat, their sauce and salsa are also good, i just wished i could get it hotter. the ambiance is also good, not noisy, you can carry out conversations with friends and tables are well spaced. definitely coming back on my cheat day.
