nachos machos, burritos, arroz... just the right place to satisfy our mexican food cravings! no worries to people who don't fancy spicy food, it's not so spicy but you can add as much sauce as you want. it's perfect for me. yum yum!! explore different dishes to share with your friends. this time, we dined in ayala, cebu branch. seated at the terraces, gave our dinner experience a nice and cool ambiance 💕

red lizard resto is a must try for the sake of satisfying ones “curiosity”. but if you aren’t keen and a fan of mexican food then, i’d have to say it is not the place to be. the food was “ok” in terms of taste compared to chilli’s mexican restaurant and pricey too. their prices doesn’t compensate their food servings. their luncheon burger cost p299, burritos p259, quesadilla was also p200+ and a plain fries was p199. this doesn’t include the drinks that we ordered. the plus points was that it park branch had a singer to serenade us while eating and chilling. but definitely not price friendly.

we're always on the hunt for new restaurants in cebu, so when we first saw the big and eye-catching billboard of "red lizard" in a gladiator costume somewhere in banilad... we were very intrigued!

we visited one of their branches at filinvest cyberzone in cebu it park.  as we walked towards the entrance of the restaurant, we were "greeted" by a tangible gladiator version of the one we saw on the billboard.  we continued to walk inside and, noticed a comic-book themed wall which made the restaurant looked fascinating and fancy, but still relatable! i mean... who doesn't love comic books?  at some point in our lives, most of us did.  i for one loved "archie comics" when i was younger.  #bingeeaters

i ordered a bullet burrito here and damn it was delicious but i just can't help but complain about how floury it was. every bite you could taste flour but it was delicious none the less.

the ambience is nice and the designs on the wall are very interesting.

p.s their burritos are so fat it can make you satisfy your stomach for a couple of hours if you're a foody like me

i’ve been waiting for a good mexican restaurant and finally abaca group of companies opened red lizard. my “usual” is their soft taco with beef, but i’ve tried it in pork and chicken and it is just oh so good! arroz a la plancha is for the rice eaters and order this with chorizo + egg! have i told you about their quesadilla? the cheese and jalapeno, i could still taste it right now. it is that good!

inexpensive but you get the hearty feel that you’re supposed to get with mexican food!

my favorite mexican place! i don't mind spending a little bit more compared to the other mexican joints in the city because the flavors in the dishes they serve are outstanding (and their mojitos make everything better) the abaca food group never disappoints.

had an enjoyable evening talking with friends while munching on their delicious mexican fare. the servings were good for sharing and it leaves you with a satisfied tummy afterwards. we didn't even get to finish the whole overloaded so-cal fries because we were just too full. the free dips were too watery for me though. prices aren't too pocket-friendly but this is mexican food (i don't know if there's any cheap mexican restaurant in cebu, if there's any, pls let me know 😊).

the place is small but the wall decor is interesting. they really created a whole cast of characters (luchador) who participate in lucha libre. the place exudes a fun vibe and you can spend a few hours just drinking and talking with friends.

real authentic mexican taste. but not really a fan. the food wasn't really tasty, and kinda pricey too. nevertheless, the place is great. esp bec it's located in it park and it is very accessible.

how lucky i am to have found this spot in cebu! i didn't know it existed until we passed by it. the place gives you a semi-casual feel. you have to order your food at the counter and then they serve it to you. at the counter, we were greeted by a courteous cashier who told us what best to order.

nachos macho - sulit! it's good for 3-4 people and it's really loaded. for 239php you get everything you wished for in a nachos. homemade salsa, beans cooked in bacon, generous serving of taco beef - what more can you ask for? the taste is also legit! highly recommended!

arroz ala plancha - now this, this one i more than liked! and it's gluten free! how can something so good be *kind of* guilt free all at the same time? the serving size is generous and will leave you craving for months! best with different types of salsa you can find at their condiments counter.

at night, a live singer will serenade you to give that chill out spot vibe. we were enjoying ourselves we ordered mojitos to cap off the night.

will definitely come back and recommend. wish they branch out to manila or let me bring it for them! haha!

i love when i come here. this taqueria has great mojitos, yummy nachos, and large servings that are more than worth it for the price.

it doesn't get overcrowded (yey!) although i think their acoustic nights should be held outside the establishment -- red lizard's space is too small and the music from a live singer can get too loud. luckily, their singers last time are actually good. 😁

their staff members are really friendly, which i always like. i love restaurants that have both good food and good service, and so far, red lizard delivered each time i went there. consistency is key, guys. :)

are you on the mood for a mexican cuisine? or do you want to eat some taco's or nacho or stuffed fries? well this a place for you. the place is quite small but the interior are well thought that it complements well on their menu. the servings are a bit too much for me even though i went there on an empty stomach.

this is the most affordable and budget friendly abaca store. their mojitos tastes the same as the ones in maya. their glass of mojito is p55 and a pitcher is p299. there was one week where i went there for 3 days since the mojitos was really addicting and i was really amazed on how affordable it was! best to pair with your mojitos: chicken quesadilla and nachos with cheese dip 😋

the place is easy to spot. i tried their burrito with pork carnitas since i only wanted a snack and i was not disappointed at all. it wasn't soggy, well flavored and with good portions of meat, their sauce and salsa are also good, i just wished i could get it hotter. the ambiance is also good, not noisy, you can carry out conversations with friends and tables are well spaced. definitely coming back on my cheat day.

i am so thankful for my baby girl for bringing me to red lizzard, i've tried their corn taco, soft taco,masa chips and their nacho's.. everything is sooo good

and wait.. which one is my fave? definitely their'quesadilla!!

the ambiance of this restaurant is great. they had live music when my friends and i ate there. their food is delicious, the jar of mojitos tastes good too. service is good and they have really accommodating staff.
