rasoi - the train restaurant

cheeze was not propely baked i m not satisfied 😒

no spoon provided, sweet was not good and curd was sour, and green chatni was smelling and paratha was completely wetted. bad experience does not expacted from this restaurant.

too much vinegar in friedrice , n the rice quality was also not good

the paneer cigar was okay...but the other kebabs were mind blowing... tasty

rasoi is one of my go to restaurants in ajmer, but today's biryani was highly disappointed. it had gritty particles in every bite and was not at all eatable.

food quality very low don't like it please do better next time

worst food i had ever eaten. ther were fine stones innrice and mix veg is pathetic

there was hair in that sabji yr ...,, 😡😡 my sister had fast today. and there was hair in your sabji , there is also your box is leaking but leave that ... but hair 😡 please take care of everything before cooking food.
i am not satisfied this time.

gravy was very less in quantity and had to eat remaining two soya chaps without gravy.gravy must be more to complete the dish.apart from that only one small pouch of onion was given despite instructing for sending two pouches.despite being permanent customer this used to happen with my order everytime.

never expected this kind of service from rasoi. order veg cheese burger. didn’t get fries n dip n order was delayed from restaurant end n packaging was also bad.

the not only have great decor but amazing food options and par excellence hospitality.

love to take my children at their place and i am their loyal customer.

the dal in the khichdi is not properly coocked. need to improve packaging as food was all spilled out of the box. both curd and khichdi got mixed.

rasoi has been that one restuarant from our childhood which has been a benchmark for good vegetarian food, especially in a small city like ajmer. i have had the pleasure of eating here multiple times from my childhood and the food has always been good. that being said, when i moved away from ajmer and tasted food in different parts of the world, i had some what really high expectations while ordering from here just to see how rasoi stands out even today.

but alas, i was really disappointed with both the dishes i ordered, namely indian ship kofta curry and browney kofta. as fancy as their names sound, both the dishes were extremely simple and bland in taste. according to the exorbitant prices they are charging for these dishes, i can tell you multiple roadside dhabas who serve better kofta curries than these. i have had different kinds of kofta curries in multiple restaurants and these were really average in comparison. i was disappointed with the food and i guess the taste from my childhood isn't there anymore.

2/5 based on food. will update the review if i decide to risk it all and order from this place in the future again, but i clearly don't see myself doing that anytime soon.

malai kofta was tasteless. didn't like much.
dahi kabab was good with green chutney.
instead of shake, missi roti as delivered as discussed, which was also okay.
