rangoli - yas island rotana

been there for dinner in a weekend. the restaurant is in the yas rotana. service is really good. the waiter explained the menu to us and gave us recommendation on food. food wise, in general, is good except the soft shell crab which was far too salty.

excellent food . service was really great. we went on a fully occupied night. the service from the staff was great. sameer the manger was always checking on us if we were happy with the things. excellent work guys.

we had iftar there with our friends. the food was amazing and there was so much brought to the table. i've already recommended it to my colleagues and i can't wait to go back.

if you are looking for good north indian cuisine, then you will not be disappointed with this place. make sure you come for the all you can eat evening. they serve many tasting plates from the menu, from starters mains and desserts. and all the dishes were really tasty and yummy. the service was really good too.

good place to try out authentic indian food with a modern twist .. or just a modern touch...food quality is very good.. specially the mango n roasted tomato chutney which they serve as soon as u r seated... pan kulfi is d best... but place is not pocket friendly... dishes are bit over pricy as per the portion size.... rest all good

this is probably, by far, our favourite indian restaurant in the whole of abu dhabi. it's modern, trendy and tasty. it is not a cheap dinner but so worth paying the extra money to eat here. we love the vegetarian started platter along with the delicious prawn curry. service is outstanding. if you are thinking about eating here, think no more and just go. you won't be disappointed.

the best biryani i enjoyed at rangoli. the ambience is nice for dinner and the staff ensures a memorable dining. thanks to sameer and all staff for their best hospitality and service for the guests.

we were staying in yas rotana for my husband's birthday weekend and had dinner in rangoli. it was amazing. ambience is beautifully crafted. impressive management and hospitality. staff is very cooperative and welcoming. we ordered butter chicken, daal makhni and garlic naans. the food was hot fresh and yummy. satisfied my cravings for the desi authentic food. it was perfectly made, not too much spicy and full of aroma. will recommend it. good job guys 👍👍

its worth an effort to drive down from abu dhabi to yas rotana for having a taste of authentic indian cousine... i would say rangoli is among the finest indian restaurant in abu dhabi which has a lot to offer to its patrons... to mention some of many pleasanteries  - delicious food, good mix in the combo platter, good options for a vegi like me, wide menu options, romantic ambience, soothing decor of restaurant which gives it an luxurious appeal.

best thing have noticed here is the staff who are  soft spoken and possess good information of the food they are serving, and good part is this restaurant customize the food as per taste of its patrons.

the restaurant has both indoors and outdoors sitting arrangement which has a view of yas marina circuit, the place is silent where one can enjoy a quiet relaxing dinner with loved ones..

coming to food, all food in the combo menu which we tried was delicious... and speciality is the deserts, gulab jamun and rasmalai was one of the best we had in abu dhabi...

all in all great place to full fill cravings of patrons who love indian food and along with it want to get continuous pampering... they really make you feel special, i highly recommend the place to all foodies around...

tucked away down a narrow corridor at the back of the yas island rotana, lies a north indian restaurant that has been quietly making a name for itself on the capitals dining scene. rangoli is a vibrant venue that encapsulates the colours and aromas synonymous with the indian subcontinent. the name rangoli is a term given to indian folk art, in which floors are painted in bright designs made from colored flour, sand, rice or petals. being diwali, one such design was painted on the floor at the restaurants entranceway as we approached – a beautiful collection of colorful petals with the purpose of bringing good luck during these festivities. this literal rangoli, perfectly setting the tone for the sensual assault that would be a meal at this secluded hideaway.

-taste of food: the food was tasty, but the rose water is ruining the flavor of the spicy food. i loved the mutton biryani it was amazing.

food was nice. each item had its own flavor. well prepared, cooked & presented.

our table service was on time, but i overheard other diners complaining over food being late.

only 3.5/5 simply because it is over priced. we have a rotana membership & get 50% off; that made it affordable.

the food is not bad, but its not great either. been there twice. i liked it the first time. second time i noticed they replaced the lights and the place seems much brighter and less private than before.
