rangoli - yas island rotana

- the tikka tasted very bad and felt like spongy and squishy, also the delivery was very late
rice was good though

i visited the yas mall with my family and ended up having dinner at rangoli in yas rotana hotel. definitely, a place that serves true, authentic indian cuisine. i recommend the palak paneer, malai paneer tikka and chana masala. the naan bread was one of the softest and the best that i have eaten in quite some time. i must also applaud the employees for being very kind and friendly with my children. i would love to visit the place again.

very expensive for the portion size

indian with a twist! some of your usual fare but with a modern interpretation and presentation. we enjoyed the attentive service and calm atmosphere. points off for veg selection, could be better

went there for the first lunch with my in-laws. must say its interior is quite comfortable. they have sofas with plushy cushions so you can sink in and enjoy. the servers are very nice, not that verbose though. the interiors remind you of typical indian style restaurants, but still classier somehow. we went for the friday brunch meal and it was quite nice, albeit slow. there was some more-than-average waiting time between the courses. the starters were well prepared and their main course and desserts were delicious too. i would say their food was good but not extra ordinary. it was well thought out and well presented and made it worth the trip.

very private and secluded seating styles also very comfortable. the various tikka masalas were greatly appetizing. the tiger prawns are a must try!

i am so glad to have joined my friend imtiyaz to this zomato gold meet-up at the rangoli yas island rotana. the appetizers were all splendid especially the chicken with a bite so tender and juicy it melts in my mouth. the jumbo shrimps in coconut curry is so yum it reminds me of mom's home cooking, comfort food indeed. the biryani presentation was great but the taste was even better. chef laxmi treated us to a gustatory experience with his mamsam meriyal masala, beautifully presented with different layers of flavors representing andhra pradesh. the dessert sampler was amazing with its delectable dark chocolate combined with rangoli jamon served creamy ice cream. the management and staff were all friendly and accommodating. the ambiance is relaxing and engaging. big thanks to the ms. aparna, mr. sumit and all the new found friends sandeep and his beautiful wife , aishick and family, and the rest of the lovely people with us that day. see you again soon!

enjoyed a lovely brunch at rangoli this weekend. this place has quite a modern indian touch to it.
the food was spot on, full of flavour. from their appetizers to the desserts, everything was perfect.
they have some really good cocktails as well, i would recommend the dalchini. overall, had a great experience.

india personified! one of the best indian recipes i've had. chef laxhmi prepared his home recipie where we could taste every single ingredient. the lassi was to die for... had a fantastic time as well..

thanks zomato and the team at rangoli for having us for the brunch. it was a fabulous afternoon in company of some great food & drinks. special thanks to chef laxmi for sharing his culinary secrets with us and to aparna & sumit for zomato who kept us entertained.

if you are looking for a modern and traditional india cuisine in our city then rangoli got to be at the top of your list. we got ourselves visiting the yas island rotana and the experience was just magnificent.

many people think that rangoli is a place to savor mostly non- vegetarian dishes, however, we were astonished to see the equal importance given to vegan dishes on that menu.

ambience :

it is quite spacious and has a marvelous decor with those modern chandelier's giving a very amazing look to the place. they have a special lounge for mini family get to gathers.

staff and management :

indeed a very deferential staff which takes utmost care of their guests. special thanks to manager sameer who made our brunch at rangoli very special by making sure that we get the best dishes on that menu.

الله يبقيكم، يا عساكم طيبين. زين اطوال الاعمار، ذا المطعم هندي، وعندهم بارتيشن خشب وحركات، هناك زينه القعده، والجو داخل حلو بعد، والموظفين حقهم زينين الله ايسلمهم، زين.. شو بعد. برياني لحم عندهم ولا غلطه، اللي ايحب الهندي يرحب.

we went to rangoli for our anniversary lunch.. the restaurant had plush interiors with a cozy ambience. the restaurant wasn't crowded and was very peaceful.. we had the friday brunch, where we would be brought any dish (unlimited) from the set menu. we wanted to get a taste of all that was on the menu and ordered small portions of everything..
there were 3 types each of veg and non-veg starters of which we liked the bhajias and fish tikka...from the mains, we liked the veg biryani and prawns curry.. the rest of the dishes were just average...!! for desserts we had ras malai, gulab jamun, ice creams and sorbet...which were all too good..!! it's a good place for family gatherings and romantic lunch/dinner when it comes to ambience, but the food is average..!!

it was nice taste, service and ambience - total package

there was nothing much i can expect at this cost, indoor is better than the outdoor.
