hometown fav!. overall taste (1-10) score 9; i went at lunch for a burger and it just feels like home. you might even run into your old high school basketball coach here.

beef quality (1-10) quality, juiciness, preparation, size; score 8. slightly on the fatty side for my taste in beef, but many could construe this to be "juicy."

bun (1-5) freshness, appearance, texture, taste; score 2. serves its purpose, to deliver the meat, but brings no added joy.

toppings (1-5) variety, freshness, cheese included; score 3. slim choices, however you can choose a few different varieties of fresh-sliced cheese for your burger.

atmosphere (1-5) cleanliness, service, speed, chair comfort, music; score 5. thisplacehas a lot of norwood roots and charm. hometown favorite. no frills with its vinyl picnic tableclothes and if you ask for mayo, they bring you the opened jar with a help yourself butter knife. classic! just as if you were at mom's. good stuff.

burger value (1-5) what you get for what you pay; score 5. can't beat $6.19 burger special on thursdays which includes a drink (plus, they have an awesome selection of canned pop...just like mom's!)

thisplacewas a surprise for the wife and i as we were early for my doctor appointment! we enjoyed the tasty cheeseburger plus (finally) skinny fries. a cool beer before the doctor? sure. there are 16 bar seats, outside searing and a noisy but neighborly atmosphere inside. we had fast service and good food. what more could you want? i might even go back to my doctor!

i ate here a couple year back and wasn't impressed at all, but i decided to give it another shot.... well it was still as below average as before. i'm not sure what all the hype is at about, i'd much rather have a terry's, gaslight or zips burger, they blow thisplaceaway.

on the trip to the top ten burgers in cincinnati this is absolutely a finalist, you will not be disappointed, the staff is great and the food/burger some of the finest , there is no reason that you do not experience theplacehighly recommend...

really good cheeseburger. so the cheeseburger is absolutely worth the hype. chicken sandwich tastes amazing as well. if you are within close proximity and have never had the cheeseburger it is worth the trip alone, especially considering the value and service. thisplacehas a positive community atmosphere and anybody would feel at home here. this is validated by the wide demographic range of patrons that come in and out of this place. i love that they didn't have a menu. you really dont need one when you can deliver the goods like this spot.

best burgers in town. quatman's burgers are the best around, every time. try one with a bowl of soup -- the vegatable soup is a meal in a bowl, and the mock turtle is legendary. thisplaceis relaxed and friendly, ideal for a family meal or watching a ballgame with some buddies. the only thing missing is wiedemann beer on tap ... hopefully they'll get that soon. highly recommended!

love this place!. totally idyllic mom and pop place. don't expect much in terms of grandeur, but it is reminiscent of the good ol' days and hits the spot. go for the plain old cheeseburger and fries. they don't even have a menu, well its posted up on the wall, and feel free to seat yourself. they have a daily special so you can grab a burger, fries and a beer for about 7.50. yum!
if you go looking for fancy items and add-ons you will be disappointed, but trust me thisplaceis worth checking out!

hate on hater's. let's be clear. the burger at quatman's is fantastic. it reminds me of when my mom used to cook a greasy american cheese burger on the griddle at home. it is no frills, and i love it.
what do people expect when you walk into a dive burger joint in norwood? an atmoshere like arthur's? get real. theplacegives out that vfw vibe, and that's what great about it. people crammed in to small spaces, drinking pitcher's of morlein, eating a great burger off of paper plates. stay golden quatman. stay golden.

one of the best burgers in town.... quatman cafe has one of the best burgers in town. the norwood location is the onlyplaceto get a true quatman burger - the mason location is not even close. big, juicy burger topped with land o lakes cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard (no other options!). delicious. served on a paper plate with chips and a can of soda if you are interested in a picnic-like neighborhood bar setting. pass on the fries - they are nothing to write home about. chili is average at best.

is this a vfw post?. i have no idea how thisplacekeeps getting mentioned on the same "best of..." lists with zip's, terry's turf club or even arthur's. these burgers that they are so well known for can easily be purchased at the local vfw post or american legion for less $$$ and the same ambiance. not to mention the paper plates that soak through from the grease. i've eaten there a few times thinking that i had to be mistaken each time before...but nooooo. i've been right each time. it's too bad.

good old fashion homemade burger, if you want gourmet this is not the place, if you want a good burger this is aplaceyou should try.

love that onion. been going since 1990. this is where i feel in love with a slice of thick onion on my burger. the chili is simple but tastes so good. the onlyplacei know you can order a half bowl of chili. they used to serve hudy on tap not sure if they still do.
