firstly i would like to say the mason quatman does not measure up to the one in norwood. do not listen to the nay-sayers.

never again. i never miss going to the mason quatman's for friday fish special.well i wont be going back.yesterday i took my mom she has never been and my son who always goes with me.my first complaint is the employees need to seat people because there are parties of 2 sitting at a 4 person table and a small group of 3 sitting at an 8 person table.we sat at a small 2 seat table that i had to clean myself.we waited 10 minutes nobody acknowledged our existence as they walked around.food is good, service is consistently terrible.

one of the best burgers in town.... quatman cafe has one of the best burgers in town. the norwood location is the only place to get a true quatman burger - the mason location is not even close. big, juicy burger topped with land o lakes cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard (no other options!). delicious. served on a paper plate with chips and a can of soda if you are interested in a picnic-like neighborhood bar setting. pass on the fries - they are nothing to write home about. chili is average at best.

fun place. great burgers! i wish they offered a side salad as i am trying to shed a few pounds. the chilli is great as well.

is this a vfw post?. i have no idea how this place keeps getting mentioned on the same "best of..." lists with zip's, terry's turf club or even arthur's. these burgers that they are so well known for can easily be purchased at the local vfw post or american legion for less $$$ and the same ambiance. not to mention the paper plates that soak through from the grease. i've eaten there a few times thinking that i had to be mistaken each time before...but nooooo. i've been right each time. it's too bad.

great lunch spot. i highly recommend quatman. i've been there at least 20 times and i've never had a bad meal... but i've also never had anything but the cheeseburger and fries. delicious.

new (ex) customer. i really love a good burger..but i must have been to the new quatman's in mason on a bad day..cold, hard burger, with stale bun..dirty soda can with no ice when requested..warm, mediocre fries...i suggest driving down tylersville road a little and eating (joyously) at five guys..a real fresh, hot, juicy burger with just-fried fries..and serve yourself fountain drinks..and it's no more $$$..this cafe really needs to step it up to make it in mason...

good old fashion homemade burger, if you want gourmet this is not the place, if you want a good burger this is a place you should try.

love that onion. been going since 1990. this is where i feel in love with a slice of thick onion on my burger. the chili is simple but tastes so good. the only place i know you can order a half bowl of chili. they used to serve hudy on tap not sure if they still do.

going on a picnic? i thought i was when i stepped into the restaurant. known as the local gathering place, i was mesmerized by their hudy and berger advertisement placements -- because i am probably one of the few people that like both beers!

the service is quick and the food came out promptly -- namely because they do not have a lot of overhead or menu items. hamburger variants and various meats, with some basic soups, served on paper plates or bowls on something that resembles a picnic table.

i loved my meal and will be making this my 'hole in the wall" for those days when nothing else will suffice.

i love quatman! the burgers are delicious, some of the best i've ever had. the fries are okay, but you can substitute chips. the service is incredibly friendly. :)

just ok. nothing that special, but they do have a pretty decent burger. good beefy taste, not much seasoning that i could tell though. thumbs down on the fries, not very good at all. it's no terry's.
