visited qd’s to try out their iftar buffet at their ramadan tent.

quite a lovely ambience overlooking the dubai creek, they have also set up a prayer area just outside the tent, which i really appreciate.

the buffet mainly consisted of mediterranean food with a few international offerings. agoodvariety of food without being too extravagant.

coming to describing the quality of food, i wouldn’t say they were all really good. there were few items which was made really well, and a few that really wasn’t good.

the salad and mezze section was great, havinggoodvariety of soups. the shish kebab, mixed-meat pizza were something i enjoyed in the mains section.
they had a wide variety of desserts as well, all too beautiful to resist. the raspberry and mango mousse were really good, chocolate mousse was too bitter. also really loved their umm ali and profiteroles.
the gulab jamun was a complete disappointment.. was hard as a rock.
the drink section consisted of a couple of arabic drinks. you could also order a warm tea or coffee.

service was okay-ish. we found ourselves a bit lost after our meal as to where to pay since there weren’t many assistants around, but finally got a staff who helped us out.

this buffet was priced at 170 dhs for one person, which personally i do believe is a bit expensive for what is actually served but a nice experience, once in a while for iftar.

i went along with my friends to try their iftar buffet..
on the positive side- ambience, customer service, prayer area, the mezze are all brilliant.
some of the servings are just about ok, lack of veg options can be a problem for veggies. @ 170 it’s slightly on the higher side considering juice and soft drinks are charged separately which is not welcome.

we went there around 9pm yesterday december 4, the server pravesh did the worst by insisting on us to download and install viya app, we informed we will be using entertainer app but he said that is notgoodand is doing a hard selling for the viya app, we said yeah it is fine, but we prefer to use entertainer. he keeps insisting on what he wants and did not listen to us. we said, please don't argue with us on what we want to use or buy. it took forever before he took our order and when he already had the order, it took 1 and half hour to be served. he even mentioned all food was served except ours because of an error which he was not able to explain what exactly it is. horrible service.
please have the waiter understand that if a customer wants something else, don't insist on what they want and argue or even worse made us wait just because we did not give in on his offer.

worst sheesha ever. went to qd with some expectation but made a wrong choice. pricy with nogoodservice at all. refused to even replace the sheesha even after the complaint.. recommendation- don’t waste your precious time and money here!

visited @qdsdubai few days back when the weather was good. this place is excellent during thegoodweather in dubai. loved the location, view and open sitting and enjoyed the fantastic view of the creek. 😍

the shisha was great and the guys were very prompt in cleaning and refilling the coal. ❤️

food options were quite limited and we mainly focused on the starters. the portion size was really good.

recommend this place to visit at approx. 6-7 p.m to enjoy an absolutely amazing view of the sunset too along with the shisha and food. 😉

it was one of the best dining experiences that i had. best thing is you get to enjoy your sheesha along with your drinks. the view and the ambience is divine. food was toogoodand the staffs were very friendly and cordial.
must try place with your loved one if you visit dubai.
