it's a very nice restaurant with fresh and delicious food.
we had breakfast buffet here during our stay at waldorf astoria and we really like it.
the buffet has so many different options. the staff is friendly, the location is great. we will be back soon.

waiting for more than 40 minutes post our breakfast order, was served cold croissants that we asked to reheat twice, was served orange instead of mango juice, was not even given plates. the restaurant is not full but the staff is running helter skelter.. as a guest quite concerned and a touched baffled, this should be the simplest and
fundamental.

enjoying a short summer break / staycation at the stunning and beautiful waldorf astoria in rak and just back from a lovely breakfast at qasr al bahar.

great selection of food, superb ambiance, polite and friendly staff, loved it.

only complaint was that the coffee was not piping hot.

it’s a nice spacious well laid out place with a floral motif ceiling
the spread is huge with lebanese arabic emirati indian continental options and fruits are there a plenty
loved the balaleet: slightly sweet vermicelli cooked with eggs : an emirati dish
mint lebanah and the chilli one is worth trying in the arabic section
loads of cheeses loads of breads croissants waffles french toast even a honey comb
there is a live egg counter and you get aloo paratha made to order
variety of yoghurts and all yummy
mango/ chocolate/ banana/ strawberry smoothies
three types of fresh juices watermelon/ lemon and mint / orange etc
three types of detox juices as well: i liked the one with the active charcoal nice and lemony and tangy
for non veg you have bacon /salami/ sausages etc
singapore chicken noodles and veal sausages for the beef eaters too
the spread is humongous the quality good
the staff courteous and friendly and though all dishes were not all that great : the spring roll / the upma most average the overall experience rates it a five

we had breakfast in qasr al bahar during our stay in waldorf astoria. the breakfast buffet is generally international. however there’re small sections for different cuisines like emirati or asian. the quality of food was above average but not exceptional. service was very professional; our needs were fulfilled without delays which is rare to see in breakfasts. also there were no ques in front of omelette section or any other place which means staff was managed effectively. overall a nice breakfast experience.

on our getaway to waldorf we had our breakfast and dinner here. first things first they serve some of the best desserts and breads i’ve had in a long time! 🤩but the main course as such was not exciting at all. but who wants mains when i can stuff my self with breads😜. they did however have kid friendly meals that was appreciated.
i was also disappointed at the fact that even water was charged at the dinner buffet. most hotels would serve you free water on half board. we paid aed 23 for a bottle of water👎🏻

if you are staying in the hotel then i would recommend it for breakfast

spend some money and a lot of time to enjoy dinner buffet - good, fresh fish, great salad bar, amazing desserts and ice cream. pork section available. nice selection of wine. five star service.

the place where i found one of the delicious salmon i ever had. we are quite to lucky to win a christmas eve dinner for 2 last 24th dec 2017. we took it as an opportunity to travel from abu dhabi to ras al khaimah to spend the christmas around al hamra.

i expect more from them due to the hotel's luxury claim and i think they can do more. nevertheless, desserts are delicious with much variety. though sushi & seafood is just average.

breakfast here is amazing . the vast layout of food is good . they offer a wide variety and it’s difficult to choose what to try and what not .
specially enjoyed the pancakes and muffins ... eggs to cold cuts to omelette to sausages ... great variety of salads as well .
this place is recommended for a hearty breakfast !!!
the staff is always smiling , courteous and pleasing .

what stood out were the staff. all polite and they made sure we didn't wait or lack anything, always asked how to serve more + all smiles wherever we turned :)

we had the breakfast and dinner buffet and the variety was amazing, couldn't have it all even if we tried lol. we loved the tasty selection of smoothies and cuisines. 

the venue is also tastefully decorated with attention to details.

i was there at friday dinner buffet, i think this buffet doesn't reflect a 5 star hotel, it's poor! plus the seafood, and sushi station wasn't tasty at all, i couldn't eat even one piece of sushi although it's my favorite food. i couldn't try all of it of course but i can say that the grilled chicken was amazing, since the chef prepare it on spot, and the pasta was nice. the good thing is that they use a very good quality of meat (beef and lamb) and you can notice that.
the service was very good. they refill constantly to maintain the presentation as possible.

stayed in waldorf astoria and had the chance to dine in at the qasar al bahar for breakfast. a very good breakfast spread that compliments the grandness of this premium hotel.

they have a wide variety of just about everything :)

their pastry, muffins, breads, cold meat cut section stand out and deserve a special mention because of so many options. the variety of food overall is well thought of and can easily accommodate various eating preferences. staff at the restaurant is also very helpful and are able to fulfill any special request that you may have.

we would be visiting the hotel again!!
