surprisingly delicious sauces and meat. pulled ham is phenomenal. we just found out favorite spot!

best bbq in the cities!!!. i make and sell my own bbq and this is where i go when i am too lazy to make my own bbq. i have to chuckle at the other reviews that say this place doesn't know what bbq is. hate to break it to you, but this is real bbq. what real bbq is and what people in the midwest think of as bbq are two different things.

love the fritters!!! i haven't been disappointed with any piece of meat. i especially like the sausage sandwich. some day i am going to figure out how to clone his mustard sauce. it's the one sauce i want in my line up but haven't been able to create one i like.

i know it's cliche, but i visited q fanatic after seeing it on diners drive-ins and dives. the spicy potato wedges were good, the brisket was very good and the espresso bbq sauce was fantastic. others in my party greatly enjoyed the pulled pork and rib tips. it wasn't the best bbq i've ever had, but it was the best i've had in minnesota. i'll

depth of flavor. we tried a beef brisket - pulled pork - pulled chicken sampler, with extra sides to sample them as well. the meats were great. the brisket had me wanting more, not at all dry, but what impressed me most was the literal depth of flavor in the other two. every bite was alive with the rubs and seasonings, no sauce needed or wanted. the sides, alas, were very much more toward the ordinary side, the beans notably excepted, but nonetheless adequate. the corn fritters didn't survive the drive home, but i suspect they would be great on premise, right out the fryer. in fact, that's why i really recommend here: eat in!

so, so, so good!. love everything i've tried. well worth the drive to champlin. brisket is fabulous. parmesan potatoes are amazing. rolls are great. pulled pork and chicken is delicious. so good.

ive had most everything onthe menu and loved all of it. its a small popular place so yes sometimes there will be a wait. if you walked into a busy barber shop would you give them a bad review because you had to wait your turn? apparently some of you would. the staff always seems friendly enough in my opinion. they are there to serve you food not kiss your ass and wipe your chin. and to the people comparing the q to famous daves...really? you probably go to mcdonald's for a good hamburger!

great lunch deals. i had the best bacon sandwich today. smoked thick bacon cooked on a grill and placed on a roll with lettuce and tomato. delicious.

the meat is great.... they do need bettet vegetables. they have way too much char on them... and i like a little char! i also wish they had cornbread. the fritters are jusy okay?

dam. i went there for the first time today and i will never go there again. i had the pulled pork and it was so greasy i couldn't even eat it after one bite. i always like to try other smoked meats cause i smoke meats myself and have for over 20 plus years with my business and this place is awful. the service was ok good be better. there bbq sauce is nothing special they have a honey sauce and that's needs help there should just put a honey jar on the table cause that's all you taste. i really think they should take down guy's pic from the triple d show cause there giving him a bad name with there meats

mediocre. brisket was good as were the sauces and beans. after that, it was a bit more depressing: the rib tips were okay but the crispy chicken sandwich was from frozen and kinda gross.

absolutely horrible service inside. will never go back ever again. had to wait over an hour and a half for food, and when the food came out it was poorly made, full of dripping grease, tasted dry, seasonless and tasteless. service seriously lacking along with customer service. when we confronted what seemed like the female owner was offended that we even questioned her about the length of time getting her food and that the food was tasteless. she basically told me that i didn't know what i was talking about, and that's rude people that good. i told her that i'm from the south and i know barbecue because of my family and business down home and she basically told me that their food was better than that and she had been to the south and had their food and also that you would have to wait over an hour and a half to get your food. i told her absolutely not. this lady must be delirious. just because you drive down i-75 and stop at a gas station does not make your barbecue expert.

though the ribs weren’t ideal, they were better than i’ve had in the twin cities. and i really liked the buttery, garlicky rolls that came on the side, though i could have done without the watery, boring cole slaw. so, while i enjoyed my meal, i’m not yet a q fanatic.

best bbq in the cities. this place will put any hole in the wall bbq joint in the south to shame. with family in the south i have had bbq in dallas, sc and nc and this place is right up there if not better. the brisket is out of this world and they cook it slow and right. you cant go wrong with any side. this place is a must try! you cant go wrong. its a little pricy but you get what you pay for.

the pulled pork here is always mouth watering. the rolls and the side dishes are delicious! the problem with q fanatic is that they have become very popular, but they haven't done anything to up the service quality to match the business they now have. be prepared to wait, be prepared for a hectic atmosphere, be prepared for delicious food! q staff: we know your stressed! but please bare in mind that the customer makes your business. be more accommodating and prepared and you should see your business climb. check the attitude at the door!

the spare ribs were inedible. they were supposed to be "fall off the bone"...not even close. spare ribs are supposed to be fatty to a certain point but these ribs were a 3/4 fat! the manager was very apologetic and offered different ribs but i was too disgusted looking at the ones i had to even try more. she also offered a gift certificate which also served no purpose because i dont live in the area. no refund offered.
