value for money , friendly owner and great tasting north indian cuisines !! butter chicken is the best in town . butter naan and paneer butter masala equally god !! staff is generous and service is great !! located in the heart of the city with ample parking !! mostly full on weekends

i enjoy a lot whenever i come here with my friends. this place is my all time favourite. awesome chicken curry. lots of love for making my tummy happy.

worst experience that i ever had. i have travelled to may countries but i never had such an experience ever. the owner talked as if he is associated with some kind of mafia and no one can ever harm him. i only told him that i faced a problem in parking and he denied to even served water to our table. the person at the counter talked to us very rudely and denied to served food. just because we raised a problem of parking and no one to asist us. i recommend that please do not go this imrestaurant and in case if u happen to go please post ur review. the peaon at the counter was very very arrogant, asif he own the whole dehradun. i would swear that in my lifetime i will never visit such a restaurant where staff talks so arrogantly. the most arrogant staff that i ever faced in my life.

this place gives me a big disappointment...

we have ordered soup,,main course,,rice,,and dessert... not the single dish is yummy...
food is as like not fresh...

total paisa waste...

food is nice, crispy corn is a must try. the ambience is nice! a bit crowded as they have more tables and chairs and less space to put them. overall experience was ok. would not highly recommend but yes can go.

recently went there for lunch. had a small meal of malai kofta and naan. unfortunately, the taste failed to live to the expectation for such a renowned restaurant. the gravy for the dish was well prepared but too spicy for the taste. maybe this is not their best offering. i had a similar meal few years ago with different dishes and all of them were fine. hence, other dishes might be worth trying.

punjab restaurant is located at the busy road of ghantaghar-rajpur. the restaurant is famous for some authentic punjabi cuisines specially non veg- chicken dishes.

i have never been to this place in my overall duration of 7 years in doon. but recently got a chance to visit this place with one of my friend & her beloved wife to be. our order included handi chicken, butter naan, fried rice & butter paneer masala.

i must say, the food was very delicious and mouth watering. have a look on my reviews below-

though i felt some cons too-

-the atmosphere was a bit sophisticated, may be due to a big rush on the weekend.

-no adequate parking space

-lack of proper washroom

i will recommend you this restro if you are a non veg freak and love to try some real authentic chicken dishes straight from punjab. 3 stars from my side!

this place is good but trust me there are way better restaurants in the city.. but around the clock tower, it's a must have option.. i ordered chicken, butter rotis, stuffed kulchas and paneer curry.. everything was fairly good.. the ambience of the restaurant was good and service was ok..

i would recommend this place only when around the clock tower and you want to have a proper meal.. otherwise there are amazing quick bite offers waiting on the streets..

worst experience ever ... had heard of this place from someone so thought of trying it out. it is a cramped up small place . the food is just normal in fact the chicken we had was not cooked well and was a little raw. in a all a bad experience.

celebrated my first bday in doon at this place. the place was not at all heavy to the pocket. although the service was late. my non-vegetarian friends were happy with the food but i personally didn't like their vegetarian food much.

visited restaurant on 31/07/16. restaurant has saved a lot of space by putting cook house and a lone washroom (not maintained
properly) on 2nd floor (that too you can only reach after climbing round stairs not safe for children under 8, again to save on space) . food was ordinary, service was late. when the manager was informed, his indifferent and smug reply was sir its crowded today.

ambience is pretty normal. waiters are polite and food menu is bit limited but this place wouldn't empty your wallets. i think ambience and food menu should be improved.

once upon a time, non vegetarian food was synonymous with punjab restaurant and i believe it still is to old timers. go purely for a food experience. be it rogan josh with nan or keema roti...fantastic! not a great fan of chicken curry, although you can get lucky enough. the parking is a problem so park it in the mdda parking nearby. the smell of masallas' can be smelt from a distance. take away is also available.
