absolutely amazing food, i had the butternut soup for the starter and it was so good! honestly the best butternut soup i’ve had. i had the stuffed calamari for main and it was scrumptious and delicious. truly outstandingserviceas well. compliments to chef cayla :’)

i had my birthday dinner at priva lounge. we were in the private room. all my guests and i loved it. the food is superb, beautifully served. theservicewas excellent. the atmosphere is amazing. this is a rare gem in pretoria. do yourself a favour and book yourself the private room at priva lounge❤

staff was extremely attentive friendly and professional. our waitress was a superstar! we were at the cigar lounge when starter came to the table and the host came to get us. crab cakes, goats cheese tarts and prawns were amazing. mains were pork belly and lamb shoulder with risotto. delicious! entertainment was great. was looking for something memorable for our wedding anniversary and the experience at priva, from the excellntserviceto great food exceeded our expectations! keep it up!

theserviceat this place is impeccable and the food is worth the trouble. i enjoyed the atmosphere. sitting outside gives you the view of the waterkloof residence at night.

from the moment you enter this gem of a place you know you're in for something amazing. before we even get to the good part i just want to highlight that dinner or a lovely sundowner here would be amazing because the view from outside is breathtaking. theserviceis really amazing and everyone is so kind and passionate about what they do.

we were served the "not so fruit salad" silly smooth vanilla panna cotta with the "sexy wobble" as they say, with a pineapple, strawberry and apple compote. a blue berry reduction, mango purée, lime curd and a sour cherry gel, served all together with a pistachio, saffron and coconut sorbet. everything about this dish was amazing. you really need to go out there and get some

an amazing 'surprise birthday' dinner was enjoyed by my friends and i last night. theservicewas really top class. from the co-owner marco showing me around the place, to going through the various wines they have in their collection. personal bartenders going to our tables to mix drinks, to our waitress kayla being super friendly & providing excellent service. quality food & live entertainment for the ambiance. really impressed & highly recommended.

no negatives here whatsoever. went there for a birthday dinner and loved every bit of it. theserviceis great and staff well trained,the setting is great but of course one goes to a restaurant to eat and wow,superb. had the ravioli for starter,sirloin for mains and then the fondant and strawberry cheesecake stack...all excellent. and of course a huge variety of wines etc.

what an awesome experience , been there twice .. found it by pure luck when the owner gave us a tour . needles to say we have been looking for a proper jazz restaurant for a while and here we found one of the best. music is always good, food is top notch andserviceis impeccable .. there is a personal touch put in everything of this restaurant which makes it unique.

i've been wanting to go to priva for ages now and i finally got my chance. the atmosphere is amazing. we were welcomed and seated and received wonderfulservicefrom blessing our waitress! the food was amazing and served on nice hot plates! i would recommend priva to anyone looking for a place for a special night out!

we were really looking forward to our dinner at priva. however, we were sadly disappointed. theservicewas incredibly slow with a very inattentive waitress. the menu had been changed on the day and the restaurant staff were not familiar with the new menu. the shiitake steak was good. valhorna chocolate dessert was average. we were overcharged for a dom pedro. altogether, it was a highly overpriced affair. will not be back in a hurry.

we celebrated my mom's birthday here last night and had one of the best restaurant experiences ever. theservicewas outstanding. probably the bestservicein pretoria. our server, kosi was amazing. one of our favorite things about the evening was kosi's helper, jared, who was just so sweet, friendly and adorable. we all tried out the 5 course tasting menu which i cannot find fault with. my favorite dish of the evening was the pork belly with pumpkin tart. the deconstructed cheesecake for dessert was also fantastic. this is such a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous bar. will definitely be back!
