porters english pub

it’s amazing underground sports bar , withnicemusic . the rates are reasonable and the happy hours is one of the longest in abu dhabi 12 noon to 12 pm. the bar manager mr george is approachable for any on going offers. the lounge is of wooden chairs gives a feeling and vibe than you are in south london . the food is quite worth the money. it has pool tables on the first level and giant tv screens for football and cricket maniacs. i am a regular visitor to the bar , and i felt it would be fair and justice to write a comment . this is the first comment in my life on a bar

it’s a good happy place,nicecrowd! they have singers at night. awesome drinks and food but staff can be more pro active. you’ll see that everyone’s just trying to get serve, but we all try to understand.

we went there today to have dinner somewhere different and i always wanted to try porters. long story short the food was phenomenal!... tasted redicoulusly good! the atmosphere was, well it's a pub !... the staff were really friendly and the security guard at the entrance everyone seems to complain about was a reallyniceguy !...

nice place with anicelive band on thursdays, what is missing is good service, you can sit for 30 minutes without anybody attending ur table

drinks are fine and prices average

great speedy service and comfy seating, really good live band, chill vibes 👌🏼 great place to watch the world cup and enjoy anicecold brew. had a really great time and would definitely go back there soon.

we've been here several times, for a drink with friends. pub looksniceand they have plenty of choices for drinks. music is nice, only that especially in weekend is very loud so you can not be able to have a talk with your friends :)). actually is quite loud the music for a pub/bar. prices i guess are ok, they have also happy hours so it's worth it.
we enjoyed every time, even some times the service wasn't great (very delayed orders),

it's just the perfect place to chill with friends, awesome selection of drinks.niceand warm hospitality by staff, ambience is pure english/irish pub kind of. it has a live band playing. food is average you can experiment with dishes!! but yeah who goes to pub for dining!!
and yeah they have happy hours on selected range of drinks till midnight strikes!!

the ambience is good.food is fine not great. music was okay. n@othing much happening on a fri night but people sitting quietly and chatting away...nothing exciting overall ! yea they have a good wooden staircase for sure and 2nicelooking chandeliers

it didn't had many options for vegetarian guys...
but if you are with an evenly distributed groups you would surly have fun here

its aniceplace to hangout excellent ambiance but staffs are not that welcoming or friendly but even though it's really aniceidea to hang out in the weekend

nice pub,nicehappy hour and attentive bartenders. just next to.al wahda mall which makes it great after shopping spot to grab a refreshing pint

well, at least anicehidden place for a nicely poured guinness, good things comes to those who wait, and guinness is certainly one of them...
you are going to think, but this is the site for foodies, and you will be right !!!
but, if you have asked yourself this question, who might not be the foodie that you think you are, as food is as important, as the drinks which accompagne it, but also the service, and in this matter, everyone in the food and beverages business is as important as the people you own the business!!!
the food is delivered to a restaurant, chefs deals with it, kitchen porters peels 1000's thousand of potato in their life, the waiting staff is constantly bending forward to the customers expectations... 
but, if one of those steps mentioned above is missed, incorrectly prep and served by a non experience waiter in a dirty plate, well the final step doesn't happen !!! the owner won't make as good money as if everything was perfect...
likewise in any business in fact, including this one, zomato without your millions of reviews, billons of likes and countless side advertising is a multi millions business !!!
think about it !!!
we are zomato...
and @ porters pub, they received us well, from start to finish, which thinking of it, i still don't have any idea what time did our night finished... lol...
