this is an italian (legno, not legro) restaurant run, i believe, by moroccans who may also operate the morrocan restaurant la fibule across the road which i have never tried. pdil restaurant is unlicensed (alcohol-wise) and claim that what they serve is halal. they offer fillet andsirloinsteaks and the fillet is the best halal steak in the midlands in our opinion. it is a little pricey though and 2 fillet steaks sharing sides and soft drinks will set you back a little over £50. but for special occasions we think it's worth it.
