pizza packing is very poor, pizza was not delivered hot which spoilt the texture of the cheese. make sure in delivery the experience matches like dine out.

had heard a lot about this place from locals and also it was all over the internet on every travel blog. it is true to expectations.
had the best thin crust pizza here, it was crisp, light, with right amount of spices and salt. it found the perfect balance to meet the desi taste buds yet give them an authentic feel.
ravioli was also great. and best was apple pie with ice cream. the crust of apple pie was baked to perfection. it was served warm to complement the ice cream.
the waiting staff was courteous, brought the ice tea at perfect temperature as requested.
the location at assi overlooking the ganges adds to the experience.
literally must visit!

the apple pie was unbearably saccharine and certainly not consonant with my palate. recommended only if you are into ultra-sweet desserts. however, the pizzeria by virtue of its location, affords a panoramic view of bedecked ghats straddling the river ganga. so, its "aesthetic pleasure" quotient does remain high.

while strolling in assi ghat, we chanced upon this place and boy, glad that we did!
overlooking the river, we hopped onto this cute cafe to have pizza and juice.
the ambience is quite nice and spent a lot of time there as the weather was perfect.
i'd reccomend the onion pizza more than the special pizza, if you are going for it.

nice view in a chilly winter evening, the ghat and the aarti will not fail to mesmerise you. the food is great... the thin pizza base makes the pizza unique..apple pie with ice cream is worth a try, and ofcourse the nana-mint is one beverage you can go for anytime in summers!❤️
love this place
staff is polite with foreigners the brown skinned people need to press harder!

it is a beautiful place to sit and relax. went their with a friend. never expected to receive such good quality food. i have become fan of their pizzas. they are simply mouth watering and give a run to any of the branded fast food chains.
the view of asi ghat soothens your mind . prices are nominal.
i would highly recommend this place to all my near and dear ones.

most overrated place in varanasi. prices are very high for a wheat base pizza which tastes pathetic. all the staff is busy attending the tourists so ignorant towards the local people.
overall a bad experience everytime

food is too tasty , nice natural environment with ganga view . but service is not good , one has to ask for everything . as far as hygiene is concerned , i will give 3/5 . it is costly but worth spending as food is satisfactory.

in the evolving stages of fast food joints at varanasi, its the best..... grt location, grt food..apple pie & ravioli is the best. flavours are true to its name and doesn't tastes like a benares-fied version..

one of the most sorted out places in varanasi and that too for food reasons!
this cafe is situated at the famous assi ghat , and you can enjoy the view of the calm ganges along with your food from this small cafe.

this places has become a must visit place for tourist.

the sitting arrangement is spacious and good , it is an open cafe surrounded by various plants and gives a view of the ghats and the ganges.

i have tried lasagna here and it is really good.
this place has various choices in pastas and pizza's.
margareta is also very good. the food at this place won't disappoint you at all. it has a different taste when compared to other places in varanasi.
the place is famous for its apple pie with icecream and it is definitely a must try.

the place may seem a bit expensive but it is totally worth it!

pizzeria vaatika is one of the finest candid open air, cosy & chill cafes, situated on the riverfront at the very famous assi ghat in varanasi. the place is a treat to eyes, with gorgeous sitting amidst the lush green surroundings, overlooking the beautiful ganges. there's all together a different calm and poise about this place. full of crowd that mostly comprises of students, travellers and foreign visitors, pizzeria is one of the most popular and loved hotspot of the town!
the place is known for its authentic italian pizzas prepared in old style, brick, fire oven and the apple pie (omg, best ever, drooling) !
every single dish here usually exceeds expectations. we tried the following items from their menu-

1) the onion-garlic-mushroom pizza which was gorgeously garnished with onions, capsicums, mushrooms, garlic and cheese on a perfectly oven-cooked, thin crust with a nice, smoky flavour to it, was nothing but amazing.

2) we randomly chose to order the brown bread rolls with mozzarella from the menu which had half loaf of oven-baked brown bread stuffed with garlic paste, cheese blend and a mix of mozzarella, and to our surprise, we loved it to the core. another must try!

3) also tried their aglio olio peperonchino and oh, it was one of the best aglio e olio, we ever laid our hands on! astonishingly full-flavoured with lightly sautéed pressed garlic in olive oil, tossed with spaghetti and sprinkled with dried red chilli flakes on top, top-notch, totally.

4) and any visit to pizzeria is incomplete without savouring onto their legendary apple pie! it is virtually the last thing you'd expect to eat in varanasi, but damn, it is sensational! this is also baked in the traditional brick oven which adds to the crisp crust of the pie. buttery, soft pastry, filled with cinnamon with perfectly balanced sweetness and topped with delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream, this epic in every sense!
